Zack explains it to them "Yeah, it was a witch who mistook me for you. She said me to call in my sister too so that she can kill us both at same time....however, she was dead before she said something else. And as I don't have any sibling, I knew there were others killing them too".

The wolf had killed her grandma, and there was no axeman that came and cut the wolve's stomach open and got her out, none of that. The wolf had tried to kill her, but she got a knife from the kitchen and stabbed it in the throat. She slays evil wolves (Not all of them, just the ones who are evil :P) and other beasts in revenge of her grandma.
