Darkclaw and Mistpaw joined the rest of the Clan in front of Splash Cliff. Mistpaw looked up curiously, longing to get the meeting done with so she could eat. She was as impatient as she was hungry, but hesitated to eat a quick kill.

Shox was sleeping under a tree under her extremely happy owner, who had just hatched her from his #2713 egg. (I'm not joking, that's how long it took me to get one on Pokemon Platinum. .3.)

I wonder who it'll be! Mistpaw thought to herself. She felt a slight sting of sadness for Sweetstar's absence, but she barely knew the leader anyway.

As Shox woke up from her nap, she heard the meows and yowls of other cat Pokemon. "There must be some friends there!" She meowed. She padded towards the forest.

An hour later, her trainer woke up and reached out to pet her. Realizing she wasn't there, the trainer screamed in terror and anger. She was going to find the one who stole her precious shiny Shinx!!
