Fruitclan Reborn (Semi Literate, Accepting)
Forum-Index → Roleplay → Fruitclan Reborn (Semi Literate, Accepting)Hours passed and the camp seemed quiet. Orangeheart was still intently staring at the camp entrance, turning his ears occasionally to pick up different sounds. He sat more alert as he heard what sounded like twigs snapping. Ripplestar was leading a patrol closer and closer to the camp, and their pelts reeked with fear of their leader as well as the tang of fish

Switchfire bolted out of the warrior's den in a matter of seconds, and Firelight came from the medicine cat den, giving Whitestar a questioning look.
"Fishclan is in the territory and they're coming on fast" he hissed.
(ok im off to bed)

Kauri stumbled as Whitestar called for the clan's warriors, nearly tumbling into Firelight as she rushed out of the medicine den. Confusion rushed her mind as she realized what was happening. Fruitclan was under attack. Her fur bristled as panic and worry flooded her mind. She suddenly remembered the promise she had made to the large tom outside of camp several days ago. After this was over, it was urgent that she had to speak with Whitestar. She watched in a timid daze as cats darted past her to take their positions defending the camp.
Fern darted to Whitestar's side, the fur along her spine prickling in anticipation. "Whitestar, what's going on? It's Fishclan, isn't it?" She asked, a slight edge of urgency edging into her voice. Her happy-go-lucky attitude had melted away, replaced with a sense of duty and solemnity. It was rare to see the she-cat at a time she wasn't smiling, and now was probably one of the most serious moods she'd ever been seen in Fruitclan in. Her tail was anxiously whipping around her ankles and her claws were unsheathed, her eyes with a spark of something quite feral, something blinked away and replaced with anxiety. "Do you want me anywhere specific?" She asked her friend, earrings appearing like shrapnel in the light of the moon.
Firelight looked at Kauri. "I'm going to help. Stay in the den to treat any wounds. I've been trained to fight once, and I'm going to protect my clan." he meowed, taking a place beside the elders den.
Ripplestar glared at Briarsting and she spit at the ground. "Whats it to you Echoclan deputy? Stay out of my business, I have no plans to speak to outsiders." she hissed, turning on her heels and barging through the camp entrance with a cry of hostility

Fern gave a sharp nod, her expression stern and anxious as the cries of the attacking cats was heard from just outside camp. Her gaze hardened as she saw Ripplestar dash through the entrance to camp with a nasty bite mark at the back of her neck, beelining her way for Whitestar. She was followed by a mass of Fishclan warriors, giving a cry of war as they attacked. She crouched down in preparation for when Ripplestar reached them, claws unsheathed and teeth sharp in a scowl, an expression almost foreign to the she-cat.
Brairsting lunged at the clan leader, biting her scruff and yanking her back. "I'm not done with you yet Ripplestar!" He growled, tipping her to the ground. He managed to get a savage bite on her neck before one of her warriors interfered, shaking his grip on the clan leader. He hissed at his attacker, pinning the smaller tom to the ground with a harsh growl, but Ripplestar had already dashed into camp by the time he had defeated his opponent. With a growl, he settled himself with attempting to keep Fishclan warriors from getting in the clan. Though he belonged to neither of the fighting clans, he tried his best to prevent Fishclan cats from getting inside. After all, what was the point in asking for aid if the ones you were asking were too busy trying to aid themselves?

Brairsting was fighting valiantly, but there were too many Fishclan warriors to hold back, and they continued to slip past him into Fruitclan's camp as he was distracted with a trio of toms. He was currently sporting an ugly gash under his right eye, and several scratches on his sides, but the pain he felt was nothing compared to his determination to defend the clan.
Kauri trembled as she surveyed the fighting going on in front of her, cats fighting each other as if their lives depended on it, which it probably did for a few cats battling. She felt like she couldn't do anything until some wounded warriors were escorted to the medicine cat den, and she busied herself with tending to their wounds, trying to ignore the sounds of battle just mere feet away.
Ripplestar screeched and squirmed. "Help me you worthless lumps of fur!" she screamed at her 'warriors' causing a great deal of them to turn and rush to her aid.
