Whitestar watches wolfpaw pad over to his den and he calls her over from the camp clearing. "Wolfpaw I'm over here" he laughed. "Were going out on one more hunting patrol for the day, it's almost leafbare. If you wanted to ask about the ceremony, we'll have it tonight when we get back from hunting."

"Oh! I was going to offer a thrush but that sounds better!" She almost squealed with excitement as she padded towards the fresh kill pile and put her thrushs on.

"You deserve a break" he purred. "Go get some rest until we get back, we shouldnt take too long~" he meows in a sing-songy voice, dipping his head to the young cat. "And dont worry about me, I'm not too hungry at the moment" he laughed

"Okay!" She spat out a feather of the thrush and sat down, her legs feeling like they were on fire. She sighed happily.

"Aight, I'm good to go whenever you are." She chirped, ears twitching. She couldn't stay still, pacing with nervous energy and impatience.

Whitestar nodded and the trio headed out to the forest to hunt. Switchfire stayed on the other side of White star, away from fernwing so she wouldn't lash out due to her jealousy

"Tundrapaw! Come," she called, leaving Whitestar's den and heading to the camp entrance. "Did you eat? We're covering all the boarders today."

Tundrapaw nods. "I ate a squirrel with Snowpaw earlier, I'm not hungry" she nods, bounding over to her mentor. "All of them? How many do we have?"

Just a quick overview of what the other clans could be like

Fishclan- a clan separated from fruitclan by the river boarder. both clans share the river for fishing, and fights dont normally break out unless a cat steps over the river to hunt in fruitclan territory. the clan has a seafood-like scent, and they're lead by Ripplestar

Hailclan- A clan that works best in the leafbare season, their border is where the forest ends and opens up into more of a mixture of a sandy and grassy hollow. the hollow is large, and it fills with snow during the leafbare. the cats here are smaller and are skilled in digging through the cold snow to find mouse burrows. Spiritstar is their leader

"Fruitclan is surrounded by four boarders," she started, leading the way out of camp and stretching her back in a high arch. "We'll begin with Fishclan and the river boarder. Don't fall behind." She didn't give Tundrapaw a chance to respond, she leaped forward and took off at a quick run.

Tundrapaw yelped as she was left behind, and she darted after her mentor, using up whatever power she could manage to help her catch up until she was sort-of next to Shadedfur. "S-so do Fishclan cats smell like fish?" she asked, hoping it wasn't a dumb question.

(I'm assuming Echoclan (the clan Briarsting's from) isn't too far off either, maybe bordering one of the clans adjacent to Fruitclan?)

Fern trotted cheerfully beside Whitestar, smiling as she caught a glance of Tundrapaw as they were exiting camp. Fern loved watching over Whitestar's kits when they were younger, occasionally bringing Kauri along. It almost astonished her how many similarities there were between Kauri and Tundrapaw's mannerisms, though Tundra seemed to be a little bolder. She gave a melancholy sigh, a gentle smile on her face. She blanked for a moment before glancing at Switchfire on the opposite side of Whitestar. She seemed a bit on edge, possibly a little grumpy or upset. Fern couldn't tell, she wasn't very great at identifying emotions. With a grin, Fern trotted over to Switchfire's side, a friendly grin on her face. "Hey Switch!" she chirped cheerfully, trying to make conversation. "Did you hear about Marble yet?"

(Announcement - Bordering clans was added to the main post. To make this RP a bit more interesting, you don't have to be limited to fruitclan cats. you may play as cats from Fishclan, Hailclan, and Echoclan. However the leader positions are off limits, I created each of them. Deputy spots are free and first come first served, as well as medicine cat positions. Warriors/queens/apprentices are more than welcome)

Switchfire looked up and sighed. Cant she just leave me alone sometimes, I don't need her getting in the way of me and weaselmask she thought, before realizing she was kind of selfish. Weaselmask didn't even like either of them as far as she knew, and she had a better chance of getting his heart anyways, since she herself is a full clan cat. she shook her head. "Marble is back? Why didnt he come to me, I mean I'm his sister." she meowed, twitching her nose

Personality: She can be very salty towards some cats, especially echoclan cats. Shes one of "those leaders" who dont really deserve to be in position. She has 4 of her nine lives left, most of them lost to greencough and fights with other clans since shes too stubborn to keep out of trouble, and her clan has become cowardly because of her.
Kin: Her mom and dad are both elders, and she has a sister who was wounded in a fight that she was to blame for. It was between echoclan
History: Her whole life she falsely made herself seem trustworthy so she was able to worm her way up to leadership, and she caused everything to go downhill from there. She strongly disapproves of the echoclan cats being distanced from the other clans, and she doesnt care what happens during leafbare.

Personality: Spiritstar is the "silent but deadly" leader. she comes and goes like a theif at night -- not to do bad, but good. Her clan is quiet, unlike the much louder echoclan, and shes formed an alliance with their clan, as her camp is closest to theirs. During the winter, since her clan is always able to find food, she likes to send out patrols to other clan territories to deliver herbs and food when they are in need. All the clans -- except the stubborn and cowardly fishclan, accept her help and usually dont mind when they catch a hailclan cat in their territory. Whitestar and Moonstar are good friends of hers.
Kin: She once had a brother named Branchleaf
History: She pushed herself to become leader when her brother branchleaf died. he died due to the ill will of Fishclan. Ripplestar had denied Hailclan's medicine cat access to herbs in their territory when he fell ill and was in need of help that only Fishclan could grant. She didn't want anymore cats to feel pain, so she made it her main goal to spread her abundance with other clans, so good will would always pass through the territories. She wouldnt dare try to help Fishclan, unless the one in need is a kit, since you are never allowed to deny the help of a kit. She has all 9 of her lives

Personality: He may be the youngest of all the leaders, but he's the smartest, the toughest, and yes, the smallest. He lets everyone who challenges him and his clan know that he can kick butt despite being itty bitty. everyone as in fishclan.
Kin: His kin is unknown, they were definitely echoclan cats, but he's unsure of where exactly they are now.
History: He lost his memory when something went wrong during his visit with starclan. His dreams were disrupted right after he recieved his nine lives, which he has 7 of left. The shock of the disruption wiped all knowledge of his kin, but they werent in the camp when he returned anyways, so he assumes they were taken by some wild creature.

Other: Moonstar ran out of the cave, weaving through the rocks. A rush of excitement flowed through his muscles as he climbed the sunning rock his clanmates visit often. He hadnt been up there in ages, and it felt good to feel the warmth touch his fur.

(So on the topic of clans and such, Brairsting is supposed to be deputy of Echoclan, but I put him as rogue cuz I was still planning things with history and junk)
(With Echoclan, I was kinda planning like the whole reason that Brairsting is looking for Fernwing would be because of some tragedy that had totally messed up Echoclan, killing a bunch of cats and resulting in them seeking aid from other clans and such.)
(Since you've got Echoclan all made and stuff, I'm not sure if this would still be a thing, but if it is, this is the reason Brairsting is by Fruitclan and such)

"Iunno, I was kinda thinking he was gonna surprise you or something?" She shrugged, unsure of Marble's reasons. "Anyways, how's everything been lately?" She inquired, tail flicking as she tortted cheerfully besides Switchfire.

Switchfire sighed and rolled her eyes. "Im fine. Y'know, normal warrior stuff. Catch mice, eat mice, change the moss in the nests."

Fern bobbed her head. "I've been planning on harvesting and fixing up s'more materials for a project I'm planning. Maybe you'd like to help sometime, possibly later today or tomorrow?" She asked. "That is, of course, if you'd have the time for me." She said with a smile.

"W-weaselmask, w-what do y-you th-think?" Kauri asked the tom. "I-I p-p-personally th-think we s-should bring h-him to W-whitest-star, b-but.. W-what should we d-do with h-him?" The larger tom -Briarsting, she believed- was standing off to the side, waiting for Kauri and Weaselmask to come to a conclusion.

Switchfire stayed silent for a moment before she shrugged. "I dont know, I guess I can help if I dont have anything else to do" she yawned, licking a paw and drawing it over her ear for a quick second before continuing her walk."
