Draco stepped forwards mirroring the shadow, his sword drawn and reflecting the light of the moon. "WHO!! ARE!! YOU?!?" He bellowed once more as he advanced.

(I'm going to stop with Khaalida as she is currently simply resting in his arms.)

Bradwr began to step back as the human approached. He'd rather not have to fight, though, the human would make a nice meal. ERIN!

(I must bid thee good night! Brain is failing me... And I sincerely apologize for not posting yesterday, but we lost internet due to a storm...)

Hinami simply watches, knowing that she will be unable to stop him. She kneels down to the boy, whispering in his ear to hide in the nearby building. She kisses his head and watches him go before pulling out her scythe, glaring hard at the figure.

Riku stiffened again, turning his attention to the Hunters once more. "Erin...I suggest you take your friend and go. I can handle my own problems." He growled forcefully and pulled his arm away from her. He saw he visibly flinch, confusion on her features. "Go," Riku repeated more demandingly and turned away from her.

Erin blinked. What? She didn't comprehend why he wasn't accepting their help. Bradwr...

Draco stopped and was left staring into the shadows cast by the large, dead buildings as the figure vanished as mysteriously as it had appeared. "The heck?" He walks out further into the intersection looking around confused.

Bradwr leapt back into the shadows, ran back along the building, emerged and grabbed Erin. He shot a concerned look to Riku before delving back into the shadows with Erin held tightly to him. Everything went black, as if someone shut off the moon, it was so cold, it was almost like there was a breeze, but there was no feeling. All of a sudden, they emerged back in the building where they made their plan. Bradwr let go of Erin and walked to the window to look at the group.

Hinami grips the handle of her scythe tightly, her knuckles turning white. What in the name of... Whatever the figure was, it wasn't there anymore as if it didn't exist in the first place. "What was that?" She murmurs, knowing that it was some sort of creature. Vampire maybe?

Riku watched Bradwr grab Erin, the female vampire struggling in his grip before they both sank in the shadows. I'm sorry... He thought closing his eyes for a few moments before catching up to the Hunters. "What's wrong with you two?" Riku asked with fake concern, masking his face with exhaustion and confusion.

Erin gasped, relieved to be out of the pure darkness. She leaned against the wall and stared at the ground saying nothing. What's wrong with Riku? She wondered to herself.

(Man, I'm having so much fun with this RP!)

Draco looks around for a moment longer before turning around and walking towards Riku. "I think you know damn well what just happened..." He growls as he sheaths his sword, trying to at least not kill the vampire. Perhaps one of his friends checking in on him?

(Simply let me know when Axel gets to one of the buildings.)

Bradwr sighs. "There's something wrong with Riku... Like, really wrong... He seemed... Different..." This kind of world changes people, but how much has he changed? How far has he strayed? He thinks to himself.

Riku visibly flinched while making his eyes widen. "What do you mean?" He growled. "Don't just assume things..." His nostrils flared. "I was unable to catch up and I heard you yelling at nothing." Riku gazed at Draco, his features full of curiosity.

(Okay!)

Erin rubs her face, her thoughts clouded with confusion. I don't understand his intentions...what does he plan on doing?

"Don't play coy with me bloodsucker..." Draco spits as he stops only a foot from Riku. "I know your kind, they lie just as quickly as they'd kill for blood... Who was that boy?" He demanded, his hand instinctively grasping the hilt of his blade.

Bradwr turns away from the street to stare at Erin. "We're going to follow them. I don't care what Riku said. We need to find out what exactly is going on."

(You're fine! Don't worry about it, I've been really busy too.)

Riku's lips curl back into a snarl. "Do you want me to repeat myself? I. Don't. KNOW!" He spat shaking with fury. His eyes go to Draco's hand making him to narrow his eyes. There he goes again... Riku thought while focusing back to the Hunter's face. "Your kind is no different either, scum. Once you get angry, you want to kill and you demonstrated that earlier for me." Riku pats his chest where Draco had hit him. "So go ahead, let your anger consume you. Let it make you go into a rampage." He flared his nostrils, waiting for Draco's response.

Erin nods now focusing her attention on Bradwr. "Same here. None of this is making sense..."

Draco emitted a guttural growl his lip twitching, wanting nothing more than to divulge himself in slicing open the vampire taunting him. "You... You'd like that wouldn't you?" He removes his quivering hand from the hilt of his blade. "You'd just love for me to go off the deep end wouldn't you?" He steps back from the vampire now chuckling almost nervously, he wipes a sweaty palm across his mouth his hand still shaking. "You're injury made you fall behind so you didn't see who I was talking to eh? Heh, that's your story? Well... I guess you're Mr. Innocent over here eh?" He nods and glances over to Hinami and the boy before turning and continuing down the street trying to understand and control the serious rage issues.

Bradwr turned to Erin. "I don't know if we should report this in... You know the standard orders for hunters... Kill on sight. Riku obviously has some sort of plan, and calling in back up would mess that up..." He trails off now thinking seriously about what he just suggested.

Riku grins, watching the human turn to his companion. For guidance, probably? The vampire could easily smell the Hunter's nervousness and see it as well. "Yes, that's my story." Riku replies as Draco begins to walk again. "It just simply depends if you accept that fact." He continues, making his voice slightly louder so he could hear him. Mr. Innocent... He scoffed at the thought and followed.

Hinami immediately follows, going behind the vampire so he wouldn't be left behind. As much as I don't want to admit it...the vampire is right. She thinks, feeling horrible that she actually agreed with the creature. She sighed, aiding the little boy around rubble.

Axel had barely entered the city. He was tired and sore. After putting up with Khaalida, he realized that she did have a lot of determination to weigh him down. And it worked too. The Noble thought bitterly. It doesn't matter, though. Axel thought as he entered a building. Once I rest, I'll gain my strength back.

Erin nodded, instantly agreeing to Bradwr's suggesting. She didn't care if went against the orders. Hell, she broke them a few times before. They weren't this big. The green-haired vampire reminded her self but she shook it away as soon as she thought of it. "We have to wait then," Erin said, her gaze filled with determination as if daring Bradwr to defy her.

Draco keeps walking at a quick pace, his hands clasped in front of him as he tries to calm down and figure himself out. What am I doing? I should kill the vampire! But I need to bring him back to base... But he could escape and tell the other vampires where our base is... That wouldn't be good, but if when we get there we knock him out, then we could put him in a cell... Then, oh then we could interrogate him... "Oh, that might work... That just might work..." He mutters the last bit quietly to himself.

Khaalida groans in Axel's arms, her legs throbbing and her throat burning. I'll do something once he lays down... I won't be able to get too far on my own... But perhaps I could find someway to incapacitate him? Perhaps I could get close enough to pin him down and drain him? I wouldn't be able to hold him down... Not without my legs... Perhaps attempting a spell? No, I don't have enough energy for that... Her eyes are shut, and her hand twitches now and then to imitate sleep, in hopes that Axel will not be as cautious.

Bradwr turns sharply to Erin. "You... You're agreeing? I thought you of all people would disagree..." He says, his words dripping with sarcasm. "I doubt you want to travel through the shadows again?" Why would she? It's unpleasant... Even for me... Well, I'm used to it...

Riku perked up his head. Did he say something? He wondered, staring hard at the Hunter's back. Shrugging to himself, the vampire discarded his thought now focusing them on Erin and Bradwr. Why...how did they find me? I hope they don't get in our way. Riku sighs, knowing if that happened, he would have to fight against them.

Axel glances down at Khaalida, narrowing his eyes. Is she, unconscious? He wondered. The last thing he wanted to do was to put his defenses down. Now he knew not to underestimate the female vampire.

Erin grins, placing her hands on hips. "You should know me!" She exclaims. Her posture quickly disperses as Bradwr mentions the shadows. She shudders. "I really don't...but if that's the only way, then I won't complain."

Draco takes several deep breaths and slows his pace to allow Hinami, the boy, and the vampire to catch up a bit. Hinami probably thinks I've lost it... I honestly don't care what the vamp thinks about me... Then there's the boy... He's probably terrified... He turns to face them as he stops. "Boy? What is your name, I meant to ask earlier?" He speaks with a gentleness he rarely uses.

Khaalida moaned slightly and twitched her face and arm once more to keep up the simulated dreaming. I do need a plan though... I mean, I could go up to him and at least try to rip out his throat... That is unless he binds me somehow... I didn't see any rope on him, so unless he's extremely lucky and finds some... I should be able to do it...

Bradwr chuckles at her first posture, but once it changes to one less confident, he stops laughing. "I mean, we could walk along through the rubble and such, but we risk being heard or spotted... Traveling by shadows is easier and safer, but if you're uncomfortable with it..." He gestures to the road.

Riku grunts and slows to a stop as well. Perfect, lets have a reunion. He thought sarcastically while rubbing his temples. Afterwards, he turned his direction to the boy slightly curious of his backround.

Hinami felt the boy tense at Draco's sudden question. We never asked him that. She realized. The boy glanced up at her uneasily, clearly uncomfortable by Draco's presence. Hinami sent him a reassuring smile which instantly made the boy unstiffen. He shuffled his feet as he answered very quietly. "I-I'm..." His bottom lip quivered, "...E-Elliott..."

(Axel:-grins and pulls out random rope- You thought I was unprepared?)
Axel's suspicions lowered as Khaalida twitched. Yeah...maybe she is... He made his way to a room before depositing her on the floor. As he did this, he drew his sword just in case. I'm being too paranoid...

Erin shakes her head. "I rather not risk being caught." She says, glancing where the other vampire had gestured.

(I really just wanted to make a form for him :P I have no excuse x3)

Draco gets down onto his knee to attempt to not be so imposing. "E-Elliott is an odd name for a boy, you sure it's not simply Elliott?" He chuckled, again, trying to not be imposing. Perhaps I can at least make him not afraid of me... "How old are you Mr. Elliott?" He asked with a smile.

Khaalida slumps to her side as she is laid down, trying to keep herself from wincing and giving herself away. I'll wait for a while so he'll relax... Perhaps I'll wait until he's asleep?

Bradwr took a step towards Erin. "You're sure you want to? I mean, it still gets me on edge..." He smirks. It's the truth, but will hopefully make her feel slightly better about her unease.

(He's adorable!!!)

Riku's lips curl at Draco's actions towards the boy. He said nothing as he watched the boy's features gradually change.

Elliott blinked staring nervously at Draco. He nodded at his statement before averting his eyes at the ground at the next question. Hinami glanced down at the brown-haired child, worry engulfing her. He's probably still shaken up... She thought. Her worry soon vanished as Elliott glanced up again, seeming a bit more at ease. "I'm...not sure..." Elliott replied, his voice no more louder than a whisper.

Axel stared at Khaalida for a few more moments before sheathing his sword once more and sitting down across from her. Even if he put away his weapon, not once did he remove his hand from the handle. She's asleep, obviously but I still have to be careful.

Erin nods once more as she rolls her eyes. "For the thousandth time, yes!" She exclaimed quite exasperated spreading out her arms. "Geez," She mutters but a smile is on her lips. "But really? You don't even like it?"

Draco glances to Riku behind the boy only to turn back to the boy and tilt his head. "Well then, do you know when your birthday is?" He stands up slowly and holds out his hand to the boy. I want to keep him talking so I can find out more information... But we shouldn't stay here... Also, this is angering the vampire... Which definitely amuses me...

Khaalida lays there motionless, aside from the twitching every now and then, and her slow mindless breathing, she doesn't move. Her mind is racing at amazing speeds planning her actions carefully. Go for the jugular, I sever that and perhaps remove parts of his throat with it, he won't be able to heal it in time... But, he could easily draw his sword and run me through... How would I get out of that... I guess it wouldn't matter... Riku wouldn't have to worry about being hunted by Axel anymore...

Bradwr shrugs. "It's not the best of feelings... So very cold..." He shrugs again before closing the distance between them and hugging her tightly. The world goes black and she looses feeling. Everything is almost like it's numb. The only thing she can feel is the warmth from his body and the sensation of wind. All at once the world returns and they're in another building, similar to the one from before.

Hinami feels Elliott tense again as Draco offers his hand to him. She gently nudges him towards the other Hunter. He has to trust him too. Elliott swallowed and raised his arm that was visibly shaking. Slowly, he holds Draco's hand to see that his was small compared to the Hunter's. "No...I don't..."

Axel doesn't take his eyes off Khaalida, watching every twitch she does as she sleeps. Every movement she made was important to the Noble and he wasn't about to let one slip from his vision. I have to rest though, He thought. If only I had someone else with me... Axel's thoughts immediately turn to Riku. He growls and pushes the dark-haired vampire's image away from his head.

Erin shudders, pressing herself tightly on Bradwr. She lets out a sigh of relief as feeling once again enters her. "Ugh...I'll never get used to it..."

(Riku still glaring at Draco x3)

Draco gently closed his large hand around the child's. "Okay, as you don't know when it is, when would you like it to be? It could be in the summer so you could play outdoors... Or in the... Uh, erm... Late summer..." He stammers, sort of at a loss for words.

Khaalida slowly winds down on the twitching, signaling that she's slipping into a deeper dreamless sleep. I want to wait for a good deal longer... Until his breathing is regular...

Bradwr walks to the dusty window and peers through at the four dark figures walking along the shadows. "I never did. Well, my reaction to it got better, but it always feels alien to me."

Riku tilted his head, an amused smirk now on his lips. Play outdoors? Really? He thought.

Hinami couldn't help but smile at Draco's kindness. To her it was foreign since she rarely ever say it. It then disappeared as Draco said 'playing outdoors' and 'summer'. Those were the days... She thought, her throat tightening. It didn't help when Elliott gazed at Draco with pure confusion making her heart sink even more. "S-summer?" He questioned. Hinami shut her eyes.Of course he wouldn't know...he probably lived with the vampires since he was born...

Axel growled, leaning his head on the wall. If she awakes when I'm healing myself and tries to attack me, then I will permanently take her sight... He smiled to himself at this, imaging ripping out her eyeballs from their sockets.

Erin shudders again and shakes her head. "But that's a cool characteristic you have." She says with full admiration. "And you are able to communicate with other vampires with your head which takes a LOT of practice...." Erin scratches her head and peers out of the window as well.
