My friend, had a wonderful idea, but felt like users would disapprove for no reason. What do you think about an automatic greeting message? It would make the site seem more welcoming. Because in the introduction board, no one bats an eyelash (people are busy on this site I get it), but sometimes it leaves an impression that, I dunno, no one really cares about your introduction? So it would be really cool.

An automatic greeting messenger would be beneficial, because it makes people feel, more wanted, and appreciated to join this site. So please, I hope you take a strong look about this suggestion.

Oh my, I support this. I have been busy due to exams so I haven't had the time to say hello to new people, I usually do those but now I just forgot I guess, aha.

Yeah, a lot of people do get busy, like me and Chalice, and theres way too many threads for just one user, it can be overwhelming :3

Sorry mojoryan2003, but I don't understand what you mean by it wouldn't be special? Because it's not one on one, right? But everyone is always busy, new people join left and right. Can you honestly tell me that you could greet every new member? And when I mean greet I don't mean just a simple hi!

It's your opinion, I just don't really understand your reasoning behind it with the "it wouldn't be special."
Most wouldn't have use for this because they're no longer new or they don't greet others in general.
