I'm back! Haha, I've been so busy with renovating my sprite shop, and all the orders that followed, that I haven't had time for this thread! I still don't really, but I am making time for this:

Meet Kuri! I saw a lot of other people had pokesonas on here, so I thought I'd have a go at making my own. I'm quite happy with the result, so I've hired her to help me out in the sprite shop c: You might notice her pop up in a few other places too...

Here's some more about her:

Name: Kuri
Species: Growlithe
Personality: Kuri comes across as quite bubbly and out-goiong, but underneath that she can be shy and it takes her a while to trust others. Once you have her trust, she will be your friend for life, she is very loyal and protective of the ones she cares about. Don't mess with the her friends because she has teeth and is not afraid to use them...
Distinguishing Marks: A diamond-star birthmark on the right side of her face. Slightly messy hair, with a fringe that hangs down over her left eye. Usually seen wearing a blue bandanna around her neck.
History: Kuri was born the smallest of her litter. With 3 boisterous brothers, she quickly learned to fight and scrap to get what she needed. As soon as she was old enough to fend for herself, she left the others to find adventure. Along the way came across a young trainer who took her in, fed her, and fixed up her cuts and bruises. Unfortunately, the trainer was not what he appeared to be, and after a few days started treating her cruelly, forcing her to battle pokemon much stronger than herself, and punishing her when she lost. One night she managed to escape, but the experience left her wary and distrustful of strangers. After living on her own for some time, one day she heard some cries for help and, after following the sound, came across a girl cornered by a fearow, a geodude, a doduo and their trainer. They were clearly bullying the girl, and, despite Kuri's fear of people, her protective instinct took over and she fought of the pokemon and their trainer. Eventually Kuri got to know the girl, and saw that while the other trainer had been cruel, she was kind. After time the two became good friends and are now inseparable.

...I'm not sure if I did that right, I've never done anything like it before... it was rather fun though. I think I shall write the full version of Kuri's story... Once I get around to finishing my other fan-fiction

A couple of people have wondered about where Kuri got her name from and what it means...can you work it out? PM me your answer and you might win a prize!

XD ok, I see the monkey, though I didn't put it there, and I dunno what the other thing is either, just a random bit of snow I think :P

So there is still one left to find, though it is pretty tricky... :P

Also, did you see my edit in the post above?

So that's why it doesn't really look like anything. xD (Nature put the monkey in there. :p)

Ooooh, well I saw it now. xD ...Of course I want it. .3.

Also, I'll go edit my answers away in case someone else wants to find those little fellas from your pic. :p

Just a random pic I did today of my cat Nala. It was sooo cold she crawled right into my bed, under the covers and blankets, until all you could see was the tip of her nose pointing out. She looked so cute that I did a quick pic of her on photoshop. It was only a 10 minute job, so not exactly my best work, but I haven't posted anything here for a while so I figured, why not?

Anywho, here it is :P

Edit: Oh yeah, and I did this too for Pokeheroes Anniversary... I though I'd be clever and I thought "I know, cause it's Winter, I could make it all wintery with snowflakes and stuff..." Of course, after making it I remembered... for most of Pokeheroes it is a actually summer... Oh well, here it is anyway...

Eh, kinda sad/frustrated/annoyed etc... when that happens I tend to draw animals, so I drew a kitty. Can anyone tell me what type of kitty this is? The color is slightly off due to a lack of coloring pencils and a lost sharpener, but hopefully someone will be able to tell what it is...

So yeah, I guess be prepared for more animal pictures over the next few days...

Some more animal pics I forgot to post:

And something I did for Harkness. Just a sketch so the lines aren't very tidy...

Not sure if anyone follows this anymore... oh well...

I drew a Mega Growlithe, based on the sprite I made for The Great Growlithe Challenge And before anyone corrects me, I do mean Mega Growlithe and not Mega Arcanine. And yes, I do know Mega's are supposed to be of the fully evolved form, but it's my art so I'm allowed to break the rules. :P

I decided to have a go at drawing a plushie... Growlithe of course :P I'm pretty happy with this one, considering it was my first time and it's a different style than what I'm used to.

Edit: Hmm, no-one else has posted here for over 2 months so I guess I'm talking to myself... oh well.

Just a random 5 minute thingy I did:

It's so easy to smile online, just press 2 keys and there you go, instant smile. You can look happy even when you're not, and no-one would know the difference.

I'm having a go at something called animorphic illusion art, whic is basically art that needs to be viewed from a certain angle, or in a certain way, in order for it to make sense. This is my first attempt, and needless to say it needs a lot of improvement. The line thickness is off in places and the shadow needs some work too. Oh well, it's not too bad for a first go.

When viewed at the correct angle:

When viewed from directly above:

Edit:
It hasn't been 24 hours since my last post so I'll just add these to his one instead.
Harkness suggested I try to do one of my teddies I make as an animorphic drawing, so I had a go at TJ, the first bear I ever made.

TJ drawing and TJ bear:

Just the drawing:

The drawing viewed from directly above:

I still need to work on my shadows and line thickness...
