Is anyone here on PokéHeroes a fan of Nintendo's *ahem*
legendary series The Legend of Zelda? If so, you've come to
the right thread! I'm Nitro Indigo, and I'm in a LOZ mood at the
moment.
To start this thread of, what's your favourite aspect of Zelda? My
answer would be the music, definitely. I want to learn how to play
Zelda music on keyboard one day (there's a Spirit Tracks piano
sheet music book...). (Is it normal
that I play video games in general for the music?)
Man I love these games, I've never finished any of them... to be
honest. I love plots, music, and characters. So yeah <3
⠀⠀⠀
⠀call me ender/victor/damie(n) ! she/any prns ! oc enthusiast
⠀. . . ☆ the character in my icon and
profile decor is my own oc, please don't use these
assets!
Don't feel bad, I used to be bad at playing Zelda to.
I played The Minish Cap today for the first time in a while, and I
remembered the Hyrule Town music... <3
Also, I actually like the "Link is dead" episode of Game Theory. I
don't agree with it, but at least PeanutButterGamer is in it. If
there's any Game Theory episode I don't like, it's the strongest
Link video, because MatPat keeps bashing Spirit Tracks for no
reason. I've become indifferent to people on Zelda Universe forums
overhating that game because at least they'd actually played it,
but here it looks like MatPat took one glance at Spirit Tracks and
thought "LOL trains" like people were saying in 2009. He declares
the "Hero of Trains" the weakest Link for literally no reason
whatsoever other than "trains". =/
Also, would anyone read fanfics based on the Adult Timeline where
everyone is a Pokémon?
I grew up with Loz games. My parents gave me all there old games,
and I would keep getting the new ones. The only ones I've never
played are Oracle of Ages and Oracle of Seasons. I love the music,
the Ocarina, the dungeons, the fact that a lot of the games are
really long, and the various items you get and need to use through
the dungeons.
I used to be able to play "Song of Storms" on piano, but it's been
a long time and I only remember the intro.
My favorite aspect was definitely the Zora's and their domains. I
would usually waste days of gameplay there xD
What was your first Zelda game? Mine was Majora's Mask on N64
(:
My mother sold the N64 and the game! I've been contemplating buying
a N64 just to play it again the old way. I feel it'd be more
sentimental , they probably cost a lot now though.
My first Zelda game was Four Swords Anniversary Edition, but the
first one I played was Spirit Tracks. Long story short, I used to
be scared of playing Zelda games for some weird reason.
My first game was Twilight Princess. I played it for five minutes
and gave up--it's one of the more intense games in the series for
sure. ''o.o Then, my dad played it and I just watched him (yes,
that was how I spent my evenings before I joined PokeHeroes). It's
a really good game and one of my favorites to this day. The other
games I've played (note played, I've never finished any of
them DX) are Spirit Tracks, Phantom Hourglass, Wind Waker HD, and
Skyward Sword.
My absolute favorite aspect of the Zelda franchise has to be the
music. Whenever I'm clicking Pokemon on here, I put on the Skyward
Sword soundtrack (or the Twilight Princess soundtrack) and click
away. It helps me focus in a weird sort of way.
Who's your favorite character in the series, recurring or not? I
can't pick a favorite, personally. They're all amazing in their own
little ways.
LoZ is the only thing I've ever seriously considered getting
tattooed if that shows you how much I love the series. I have this
weird love-hate thing with Skyward Sword. I love the characters, I
love the new elements they brought to game play, but the controls
are awful and you have to fight 2 of the bosses 4 times and go
through most of the annoying experiences in the game a series of
times.... Also the process of getting the Hylian Shield
Sometimes Skyward Swords works fine for me, and other times my Wii
Motion+ starts going all over the place and I have to calibrate it
repeatedly. I've been doing a 6-heart challenge, but it's been
going on for ages now due to a lack of interest and the fact that I
keep dying in the Sand Keep. That being said, Skyward Sword was the
only Zelda game to genuinely surprise me (I read all the spoilers
for all the other ones before it, and someone else spoiled ALBW for
me), and when I played it I was completely mind-blown. It has a
very special palce in my heart.
Also, I played SS before T-wii-light Princess. Waggle
indeed...
ehh not really from the Fandom, but I played Majora's Mask, Ocarina
of Time, Link to the Past and Skyward Sword. They are pretty cool
games, in a cool franchise, but not THAT good, I even consider some
of them overrated.
I've played every game since they came out, even have the Hylian
Crest & Master Sword tattooed between my shoulder blades. I thought
of cosplaying Link a few times since I have a few different
versions of the sword but ultimately I never did (I do not look
good as a blonde!) To say I love them would be an understatement. I
think my favorite would be MM64 <3 It's nice to see other fans.
If any of you ever attended the symphony, it was absolutely
breathtaking.
Can't even tell you just how many times I beat Ocarina of Time lol,
I never really was able to start on Majoras mask but I would like
to at some point.
Am I the only one here obsessed with it? also, tried to play breath
of the wild but found it very annoying with all the little tests
and stuff, if you got rid of them it would be so much more fun!
Anyway, half way thru this I realized this is a 6 year old thread.
Anyways the first Loz game I played was BOTW so- i'm sorry ^^" I
think BOTW is like a whole different generation of the series
compared to the previous games. The characters, locations and
everything has had a HUUUGE change. BOTW was truely a turning point
of the Loz series, in my eyes anyways. I can't wait for the next
one :3 I loved the trailer :O
I played a bit of the Hyrule Warriors: Age of Calamity, if that is
considered part of the Loz series, and I wasn't that good with the
controls but that's on me.
On my first run of BOTW, I was always scared of Ganon and even
after defeating all the divine beasts (bro Vah Naboris was the
hardest out of all of them, I only killed the bosses inside the
camel and gecko when I got the master sword, couldnt do it without
it) , I still took about a month until I finally had the courage to
defeat him, and it took me about 8 tries before killing him and
completing the game. I've re-played it about 5 times and completed
everything including ALL 120 SHRINES, divine beasts, memories,
defeated all the Lynels, gotten zelda's horse, gotten ganon's horse
(the massive horse), all the armour, all the weapons and the last
thing I want to do is collect all the korok seeds, but thats gonna
take a while. lmk if i should complete something else ive missed
here. I'm a bit of a perfectionist ^^"
