(AbsolLuver plz be more descriptive if you're gonna put out the
whole fire. I'm not trying to shoot you down or anything, just
saying it for next time.)
Ivy breaks down in coughs the second her 'adrenaline' disappears.
Gasping for breath, she totters to the lake, wondering if she gets
water in and out of her lungs it could expel the smoke. After
trying to breathe in water multiple times, she coughs a few more
times, this time from the water in her throat. The ragged feeling
in her chest had relaxed and she collapses on the spot.
Violet runs through burned trees. A small bit of smoke curls off
trees. She coughs slightly as she runs. Finally she emerges,
coughing at the lake. She sees Ivy "Ivy!" She calls, and stops
besides her "Are you okay?" She circles her friend "Can I get you
anything?"
Ivy spits out some water. "I'm fine. I jut needed to figure out a
way to get that wretched smoke out of my lungs." She coughs again,
but much softer. "Breathing in water helped. Go figure, right?" She
snickers and gets to her paws. "I didn't see you at the fire, we're
you there?"
Violet shrugs "I saw smoke from my cave, but before I got to where
the smoke was thick, it got put out... Somehow." Then she pauses
"Did someone just call your name? And I think I recognize the
voice... Somehow.
Ivy nods distractedly at Violet. Then she yowls "Wesley! I'm at the
lake!" She hopes he can hear her with her weakened lungs. Then she
smiles at Violet. "Wesley's my friend." She explains, quite
obviously.
Wesley looked around, "The lake! Got it!" He runs over and sees
Violet and Ivy, "Long time no see. You two." He chuckled. "Are you
okay Ivy? You look a little pale."
Ivy smirks. "If alright means inhaling a ton of smoke, and getting
it out of your system by getting water in your lungs, then I'm
perfectly fine." Her one softens from sarcasm. "But yes, I'm fine."
Ivy smiles. "Yeah. Fires are pretty warm huh. Talonflame burnt this
area up." She gestures to the burnt tree-area with her tail, now
looking furious at it for burning up her forest... Well... Hers
until she becomes a human.
Violet twitches awkwardly "Errr... I'm just gonna go... I've got
stuff to do, as you seem busy. I'll drop by soon." She says, and
bounds into the forest, over to her cave. She collects some berries
on the way, and drops them into her cave. Then, she lays down and
thinks. She did this very often while she was human, just thinking
about... Well everything.
"Well, have you seen Aoi lately? She's been using attract on me, I
can feel it, but she's run off... I'm worried." He gave off a
serious, but concerned look. "Something could attack again. I know
it."
Ivy calls "Bye" after Violet, and turns to Wesley, smiling and
looking amused. "She'll be fine. She doesn't need you to protect
her. The experience should be good for her." She pauses for
intimacy. "After all she is a Vaporeon, and we can handle
anything." Her eyes dare him to argue.
He flinched. "Yeah, but, a great warrior must always look out for
his pals!" He accepted the challenge. "If I allowed anyone else to
die under my watch, that marks me as a failure."
Ivy laughs this time, causing her to wince in pain, and nudges him.
"You can't protect everyone!" Then her eyes darken. "The sooner you
learn that the better." Her eyes relax, not extremely happy, nor in
her worst mood, and looks at Wesley sympathetically "I used to be
like that."
"Yeah, you're right." The attract wore off. "That was just a side
affect of attract, I'm fine now." He laughed. "I should get you
back to my place. You need medical attention."
Violet eats a few berries. Then, She walks out of her cave and
walks in the opposite direction of the lake. She hadn't been this
way before, so she was alert for anything that could be a threat.
Her ears are pricked, her gaze traveling side to side, and she
stays in the shadows, her dark fur blending in perfectly.
"Shut up!" Noko roared over the two bickering Pokémon
Er... One. "If you haven't realized, there is a fire raging
around us. I don't know about you, but I'm not fire-proof." Noko
flicked his stub of a tail at the Doublade's question. "Do not
doubt yourself, I am me, and you are you, no matter the coincidence
by which we have met again. I suppose I should call you
friend."
His brown eyes scanned the ground as he came up with ways to douse
the bright flames.
Ivy scowls. "I'm alright. And I have an underwater den where nobody
can bother me. It's rather cool, but theres a skylight. Anyways,
I'll live." She coughs, which really contradicts her statement.
