Soar felt like he would go deaf from some others' loud cries and
yelps to get out. He struggled in his undersized cage, barely able
to open his wings halfway, and attempted to kick the bars. He took
a small jump backwards, hitting the back of the cage, and tried to
headbutt a bar loose, but only hit his head pretty hard. "Why THIS
cage?!" He said to himself furiously and gave another failed
attempt at escaping.
Tsuya saw a brown owl with white splotches molting his feathers ram
his cage door. She sighed and began to scale the cage, hooking her
claws into the tiny openings. At last, she reached the latch and
whispered to the bird, "I'm gonna get you outta here."
She frowned at the lock: it was a little more complex. She nudged a
latch up and shoved it backwards, swinging the door open. "Don't
try to fly." She warned. "Just climb."
Dea is currently trying to free herself like the other owls, however
hef cage is so small that she can't move to much, she have also
tried to pick the lock however she failed
Soar was about to protest to the bird, but he still wanted to get
out more than anything, whether or not it was with her help. He
waited impatiently, immediately poking his head out from the
unusually small cage and slowly stepped out. I just got out, and
I can't even fly? "Thanks." He said to her gratefully and
started to climb.
Golden stared at the trunk of the car in amazement. "I knew they
were smart owls.." She murmured to herself, "Listen up everybody! I
know you are all out of your cages," Golden steps back into her
cage and locked it, receiving a few gasps, then carries on, " But,
They OEO Head Quarters is in the basement of the place we're going,
so we need to stay in this car." Golden waited for the reaction of
the owls
Xerin was more cooperative, so he stepped back into his cage. He
noticed a barn owl (Fern) leaning against it's cage, too weak to
move. He pitied the owl, she probably wasn't born with the strength
most have. Fern was resting her head on the bars of her cage. She
just wished it would be over soon.
Tsuya hissed. "We just got out! Can you at least tell us your oh-so
brilliant plan?" She fluffed up her feathers, trying to make
herself look larger. Her wings were aching from being pinned up so
long, so that fueled another harassment. "Do you even know how to
get these stupid clips off?"
"Maybe you should think about how she knows more than us in the
first place. I'd say we listen to her." Xerin spoke up. The clips
were now digging into his skin, his feathers not doing much to
shield it.
Tsuya's anger bubbled over, but she directed it at the opposing owl
(Xerin). Her chest heaved. "You are too trusting. Can't you see?
This could be a test, directed by those scientist. For all we know,
they know how to speak Owl and set these owls after us. DO WE EVEN
KNOW WHERE THE CAR IS GOING?"
Tsuya fumed at the owl opposite of her, even though he was nearly a
third bigger than her.
"Calm down!" He roared. "I never knew owls had such an imagination.
Despite humans being intelligant animals, they can't communicate
with other species. It's nearly impossible. Being trusting? More
like i'm cooperative. Look at her, (Fern) she's too weak to move."
Xerin stated.
Tsuya rolled her eyes. "I didn't know owls could be so oblivious!
Look, humans are constantly growing their hard, hot things that
make other hard hot things do tasks. Do you really think they'd
pass up the perfect chance to learn how to speak owl? Hmmm?"
Tsuya did not like this owl. He obviously thought of himself as the
leader and was too arrogant to listen to anyone's concerns.
"To start off, i'm pretty sure nobody has ever heard of a human
speaking owl. That's just it, they can't. Second, why are we
pointing feathers(?) at eachother? We're in the same nest(?)."
Xerin stated.
Tsuya stood up straighter, so she was almost eye-to-eye with the
hatchling.(Owl insults for the win!) "Look, you may not know this,
but I was born and raised in this death-hole. If you know true
pain, you learn to be suspicious, hatchling." She hopped away,
leaving small dust kick-ups behind her. "I don't care what you say!
I am not getting in that car!"
"A sassy little hatchling, boy would the humans love that. Don't go
judging owls by their feathers, i'm sure you don't have a single
clue about their personal lives." Xerin said, folding his dark
brown feathers and bearing the pain of the clips.
(I know! This is the greatest X3 )
Tsuya ignored the jeers of the hatchling behind herself and moved
faster, getting the hang of walking around. Before long, the car
trunk was out of sight and she was wandering through pristine white
hallways, using her great hearing and eyesight to stay out of
sight.
