This is my version

One night,there is a young boy around 5 years old wandering around Viridian Forest calling for his parents. Yes that young boy is Ash Ketchum,he is lost in Viridian Forest when he and his family were having a picnic there. He is separated from his parents while he's chasing a butterfree."Mommy,Daddy(just think his father is not gone yet in this story) where are you, i am so scared" Ash said while starting to cry.

Meanwhile,Ash didn't realize he has stepped on a baby weedle which immediately cried and alarmed the whole nest about Ash presence. They buzzed madly and prepared themselves to attack Ash. Before their attack could harm the young Ash, a pikachu came out of the bushes and used thundershock to scare away the beedrills. A few of the beedrills got thundershocked and fainted,while the rest flew away. The pikachu quickly came and checked on Ash,who is trembling because he is scared. When Ash realized it was just a pikachu, he strated to slowly pet the pikachu and asked him to help him out of the forest.

Pikachu nodded and quickly lead the way to get out of the forest for Ash. Once they are out of the forest,Ash quickly thanked the pikachu and starter to walk to Viridian City. The pikachu followed Ash all the way until his home so Ash decided to take care of him and they promised that one day,they will start a journey together and become a pokenon master

My version!

A young boy around 10 years old had just chosen his starter, Bulbasaur. He had gotten it from Professor Oak, and he and his rival Gary had each received an Eevee as well. Now the trainer and his two Pokémon were walking side by side until they heard a noise. "Eevee! Go!" Ash cried as a Pikachu stepped out of the grass, looking for berries. Eevee jumped forward. "Use tackle!" The eevee used tackle. Pikachu was hit and it ran away.

After about an hour, Ash encountered team rocket. They had used their machines to take Bulbasaur, and Eevee couldn't fight them off as it had only one attacking move with two opponents. Pikachu came to the rescue and used thunder shock. That broke the machine and sent team rocket off. "Thank you so much," Ash said to the Pikachu. Ash had Bulbasaur's Pokeball and was about to return the grass type when Pikachu poked the Pokeball. "You want to join us?" Ash asked. Pikachu nodded and Ash caught it.

This should have been how Ash got Pikachu
