All inklings soon reach the age old enough to participate in Turf Wars. Nothing is different with Rouge, a young Inkling just starting out her Turf War career. She has many friends, Irma and Ina, Maya and Miyato. She had been with them ever since she was born and loved them like family. But on her very first turf war, everything went wrong....

Hello, and welcome to my fan fiction! You guys have been pushing me to do this for ages, and now, I'm proud to present "An Inkling's Journey"! It's a crossover Fan Fic between Pokemon and Splatoon. Title: Chapter 1- That Tentacool

321 "TURF WAAARR!!!!!" It was Rouge's first ever Turf War. It was Orange versus Blue. She was on the blue team, with her friends Ina, Irma and Maya. The orange team consisted of only one person she knew- Miyato, a childhood friend of hers- and three other inklings she didn't know. It was sort of Boys against girls-blue had all girls and orange had all boys. "Let's Ink the Base, Irma." Said Rouge to the inkling next to her. "Why not? It'll give us more turf and we can protect our base at the same time!" So Irma and Rouge started inking the base, while Ina and Maya ran off to cover more turf for the team. Rouge was being very cautious, and at one point nearly fell into the water! She got a glimpse of a figure in the water when she nearly fell in though. "What is that? And how can it survive in water if it's an inkling..?" She stopped inking and head back to the water. She looked down from the high post. "Cool!" Said the figure. "It can talk??" Said Rouge, startled. She fell back and fell off of the high post into orange ink. "Rouge!" Said a voice. It was Ina. She hurried to cover the orange ink and asked while doing so "Why are you not inking the base like we agreed?" "I-I saw something in the water..." "What?! It can't be an inkling..can it?" "Well it spoke..." "What'd it say?" "'Cool'". The two soon got up (Ina had slipped in orange ink) and head back to base to see Irma just respawning.

"What happened?" Said Irma, wanting to know why Rouge had left her. The two inklings explained what Rouge had seen, and they went to check it out. "Tenta, tentacool!" It definitely was NOT an inkling. Unless it was some weird new language some gangsters had made up. They were always doing that, but within weeks the language was forgotten. The longest one of their languages ever lasted was a month. But when the figure started emerging from the water, they saw it wasn't an inkling at all. It was some sort of.....squid? They had no idea. The turf war continued, and at the end, they left Inkopolis Tower and went to Rouge's home to discuss the squid.

"What the heck was that?" "I don't know, don't ask me." "Well maybe it was just our imagination." "GUYS!" Irma shouted. "Rouge has something she wants to tell us." "I have a book with a bunch of fairy tales, and one of them shows a thing that looks like what we saw. It says it was a creature called 'Tentacool'. It was part of a race called 'Pokemon'. There are many different kinds and they 'evolve'. Maybe it was a 'Pokemon'?" "Hahaha! Rouge, you must be going crazy. Something from a fairytale can't possibly exist in the real world!" It was Denton, the bully of the city. It was said he could break a steel bar with his bare hands!! "Well maybe she's not!" Said Maya. "Pfft! Puny kids, I'll break your necks someday to convince you that your puny friend is crazy." He left, and everyone but Rouge scowled at him as he left. Rouge, however, was considering what he said. Is he right? Am I really going crazy?

Title: Chapter 2- POKEMON. POKEMON EVERYWHERE.

The next day, Rouge woke up to a siren. BWWEEEEEEEEEEEEoooooBWWWWWEEEEEEEoooooo "ARGH!! WHAT IS IT NOW?!" Said Rouge, waking up. She rubbed her eyes and got out of bed to see. What she saw was impossible.

"CREATURE ATTACKK!!!!!!" Screamed an important-looking inkling. Rouge ran downstairs as fast as she could and slammed open the door. "Brwaoo!!" Said a voice. Next minute, Rouge was on the ground being pinned down by a Litleo. "Ar-hack!" Spluttered Rouge, as the Litleo started scratching her neck. She started bleeding, and eventually had to resort to splatting the Litleo in the eye to get it away with the Tentatek Splattershot she inherited from her father. "Ar-cka...." She spluttered, trying to call for help as her neck bled. "ROUGE!!!" Came a voice. She stumbled to the ground, clutching her neck.

"I-Ina?" She managed, after a while. Ina ran towards Rouge, worried more than she had ever been in her life. "Are you ok-?!" Said Ina, seeing Rouge's neck bleeding and splatting a Sentret that was about to attack the two inklings. "You were right, what Denton said is unspeakably wrong!!" Ina shrieked as she got hit by a Water Gun from a Mudkip. She started feeling faint. Rouge got up, and splatted the Mudkip. To her devastation, it did nothing, for Mudkip was a water type, and liked liquid things. She sighed in relief when she at least managed to distract the thing- the Mudkip started playing in the ink! She picked Ina up and ran, calling her friends. She ran until she could run no longer.

When she stumbled down, panting, she found herself and her friends in the middle of a forest. "Is this really the Inkanne Forest?!" Said Maya, stunned as she looked around at the towering willow trees. "I think so," said Miyato. "But I thought it only existed in fairy tales!" "Well so did Pokemon." "Y'know, the kid has a point.." Said a strange voice. "WHOS THERE?!" Said Ina, Irma and Miyato, making a defence circle around Rouge. "Guys, it's just an inkling.." Said Maya. "But he does have a weird mark on his forehead....I guess it's just a birthmark." Maya approached the strange inkling. "Hey, don't touch me!" It said. "Lemme introduce myself. The name's Zoruan. Nice to meet you." Said Zouran, in a more humble voice then before. "Well he's pretty charming..." Said Maya, with a slightly head-in-the-clouds look on her face. "You better not be falling for him. We don't know anything about him, nonetheless his home place!!" Said Miyato, slightly annoyed. "I never said I liked him!" Said Maya, quickly. She looked as if she snapped out of it, and continued listening to what Zoruan was saying.

"Oh, you wanna know where I live? Inkopolis, of course!" "Who knows you." Said Miyato, sternly. Zoruan was silent, and soon said "Well, you know, I sorta just moved there." Very quickly, as if he didn't want them to know about something. "I'm not from around here, you know."

Title: Chapter 3- Zouran

"You're acting suspicious..." Said Miyato. "Are you SURE you live in Inkopolis?" "Y-yea, of course!" Zouran was getting nervous now...he looked a bit....shrunken. "You seem smaller!" Said Irma, in surprise. Zouran backed away....getting smaller and smaller!! He started bending down as his form changed. "YOUR NOT AN INKLING, YOUR A ZORUA..!!" Shouted Rouge, hoarsely. The Zorua panicked. "Zou-roo!" It said. Flailing frantically, it attacked Miyato. Then another sound came that paused everything. It was MUCH more intimidating. "AROOOOOOOOO" it howled. A Mightyena jumped out of the bushes! The MINUTE the inklings saw the creature, they knew they had to flee fast. Zouran was guiding them. "Let's NOT GO TOWARDS THE MIGHTYENA." "How do you know it's name?!" Miyato demanded. Zouran had to fess up. He explained everything. "Y' see, I'm not exactly from this world...I'm from the world of creatures you call Pokemon-which is our correct species name." He started panting of stress from running so much. "We...live in harmony...but there are some Pokemon...which are super-fierce-like Mightyena...." Zouran started stumbling down. "Wait, so you mean that Pokemon, Evolutions and EVERYTHING said in the fairy tales...is true?!" Said Rouge, having recovered from her neck wound enough to speak properly. "Yup. NOW ITS CATCHING UP TO US RUN FOR YOUR LIVESSS!" Screamed Miyato. He grabbed the tired little Zorua, and took off.

Title: Chapter 4- The Pokemon Purge

Miyato panted as he knelt down. He had run so far- he didn't dare look behind to see his friends getting eaten. But as he dropped Zouran, (who was now squealing like mad) Ina, Irma, Rouge and Maya came over to him. "Are you ok?" "Yea.." Said Miyato. He soon passed out as the sun started to set. Irma yawned. "I think it's time we get some sleep..." "Yea..." Rouge agreed. The inklings stretched and started gathering grass to use as a bed. They soon completed their beds and all fell asleep.






"ZOURA!!!"

Rouge yawned and sat up. "Zouran.. It's still nighttime....!!!" Rouge soon jumped up. She screamed. She and her friends were surrounded by Pokemon! It wasn't a surprise that Maya slept in- she was known for that. But the fact that her other friends slept on was a surprise. Rouge dismissed it as exhaustion and scrambled for her Splattershot. The instant she grabbed it, she splatted like mad. Most of the Pokemon ran away, but a Teddiursa dropped a Pokeball. Thinking it was some kind of new sub-weapon, Rouge threw it at a Pokemon nearby. As the Pokemon squealed, Rouge gasped. The Pokemon went INSIDE THE SUB-WEAPON!!! No ink came out of it either!! As she went over to the sub-weapon, there was a Bing. She picked it up and examined it. No signs of ink here! She threw it again. A shiny Mareep came out of the ball. "Oh my god!!!!!" Said Rouge. Irma jolted awake. "Rouge!!" "Marreeeep!" Said the Mareep. "What the hell...?!" Said both Rouge and Irma. The Mareep snuggled up next to Rouge. "Oh, I see you've caught a Pokemon." Said Zouran. Rouge looked at him weirdly. "I what??" "You've caught a Pokemon. It's yours now." "Cool! What's that thing I caught it with?" "It's called a Pokeball. Look, are you seriously that dumb??" Rouge was very offended by this and put her Splattershot to Zouran's chin. He gulped. "Sorry!" Rouge hesitated, and then pulled the Splattershot away. "I'm going back to sleep. And you, yes you pink sheep, are going to be named Princess. Now then, Princess, get into this Pokeball-thing again and go to sleep. I'll do the same- except for the Pokemon part." Rouge laughed. Then she yawned and curled up to fall asleep again.



The next day, in Inkopolis...

"All the inklings in Inkopolis! We have some important news to share with you all!" Said the TV. "Oh boy, I bet that Nutcase Rouge and her friends ran off!!" Said Denton, eagerly. "The creatures spotted yesterday have been confirmed 'extremely dangerous'!! We recommend to send any sightings of these creatures, with proof, to the Inkopolis Government (yes that's a thing) so we can track down and exterminate the monster! These creatures have been marked as enemies, and any Inklings spotted near a creature will be sent to jail! Thank you, and have a good morning." The TV turned off as Denton shut it down. "Goddamnit! I bet Rouge's still here, co-operating with the monsters. Well I'll show her! I'll rebel! I'll tell Inkopolis that those...those things are much, much more dangerous than we think! And then I'll have enough power to kill all of those things and kill Rouge too! I'll prove she's co-operating with those!! You'll see!!"

Title: Goodbye PH (at least for a while)

First off, lemme say Happy Valentine's Day. I personally don't have a Valentine, and don't intend on ever being lucky enough to ever have one (forever alone ;w;), but grats to everyone who got a Valentine. So. This post. I made it to inform you all (not like 'all' consists of more than 2 people that actually know of my existence) that I will be leaving PH- at least for the time being. I will not give anything away nor will I hold a hashtag contest (nobody'll enter), but I will be posting this message on ALL forum posts I am subbed to that I have made. I have left the forums forever, whether I return to PH or not, I won't touch that monster again. But anyways. I wish everyone good luck in life and on PH, and goodbye.
