Wren started to get more worried when Max started to laugh, not a regular laugh but a more high pitched one. "One of us is the murderer, it could be any of us, the question is who is it?"

Ceony shook her head and sighed. "Everybody is freaking out today," she muttered to herself. Or is Max just down right insane? Ceony walked over to Max. "Are you down right insane?" She snapped angrily. "We all know that! You are supposed to be the detective here, not the Riddler!"
I think Sir Lucas Page didn't want the police to figure this out... I think he wanted us to.

Ceony put her hand on Zelda's shoulder. "Zel, he's not okay," She said grimly. "I don't even trust him to work on this case. To be honest, I think Sir Lucas Page's dying wish was for us to figure out his murder.... not the police," she said.

She tried not to get to upset that Max seemed to be going insane in front of them.
She bit her lip and hummed the tune, swaying again to calm down.

"Everybody calm down!" Valeros yelled. Someone had to take charge. "Nobody is going to die! There would be too many escaped witnessess! If we stay in a group, we should be fine!" His logic was reasonable, he had thought it out when he received the letter. But, he brought his hunting knife just in case.

He continued to laugh for a little more before quieting down. "Hey Maxwell you okay?" she said worriedly? Pulling her down to his level, he whispered something in her ear before standing up and facing everyone. "Mm so that's how they react... Jot that down for me okay?" he asked Wren, before chuckling and leaving. He stopped in the door way before saying, "One of us is the murderer, and the other's are innocent, which are all of you?"

"Are you kidding me?! You freaked out Iris!" Blake yelled at him. His sister glared at Max and gritted her teeth with her hand over her heart, a little stressed out. "I know for sure we're innocent!" She said angrily.

Ceony looked away uncomfortably. "Zel, I'm way too confused and scared right now," she muttered, her eyes slipping into a painful look very quickly. Her fingers clenched and she sighed. "I feel like hurting someone right now... oh, sorry... forget I said that," she muttered, more to herself than Zelda. Ceony longed to have her spear with her, but for now all she could do was slip her hands into the bottom of her jacket and clutch her security butter knife, pondering on whether or not to throw it at Maxwell. He left, and Ceony let go of it.

Maxwell meanwhile didn't bother to shut the door and sighed once he got in the room. "Ugh I don't know what happened there." he stressed pulling his hair. "I need them to be on guard, but at the same time I need them to trust us.. UGH!"

Everyone seemed to be distancing themselves from him, usually he'd have a beer and bring them closer but he was experiencing some serious hangover. Maybe tommorrow he could introduce one of them to alchohol, that would be fun, however they were mostly girls, and he didn't care much for dates or girlfriends. He had already ditched his wife and none of these women/girls were especially appealing. "Maybe tommorrow we could go out to the city pub!" He shouted to everyone, they still weren't paying attention.
