Daypaw flinched, terrified. He gulped and gritted his teeth, then glanced to a tree. He darted up it, knowing he'd look like a coward.

Stormhiss attacked its legs while Ambereye slashed at its throat, getting pretty injured while fighting.

Daypaw dug his claws into the branch nervously, but remembered Nightwalker's words. "...You'll never be a warrior!" Taking a deep breath, he jumped, and landed on top of the fox, sinking his claws and teeth in as deep as he could.

Skyfall nodded to his apprentice. He and Rainrock dug their claws into the fox's back legs. They had attacked the fox's back seconds earlier but were now at its legs.

man i need to restructure this thing. come back later when it's all dolled up

Nighttail was curled up in the nursery. She wasn't feeling good and she felt pain. Everywhere. She tried getting up but she stayed laying down. Lazy self, she thought.

Daypaw was eventually thrown off and hit his head against a tree. "Ow..." He shakily stood up and tried to help attack, but couldn't keep balance and fell over with the side of his head bleeding.

Stormhiss clawed at the fox's front legs, Ambereye doing the same. The two cats fought at it until it stopped and collapsed. She looked down at it. "It's still alive... should we finish it?"

Nighttail slowly raised her head. "I'm just aching. That's all," she mewed, every word paining her. But she didn't want to feel this pain. She wanted to be a medicine cat again. But she was destined to be a Warrior and Queen. I should have taken her place. She should have been the medicine cat. She could have had a peaceful life. She would have had a better life. But she lost all her lives, and it's the badgers' fault she isn't alive, she thought.

Stormhiss glanced at his mate, then to Ambereye and nodded. He looked down at the fox and glared at it, clawing its eyes and throat, and finishing it off. "Nightwalker, you okay?" She turned and asked him.

Daypaw groaned, shaking as he tried to get on his paws. Stormhiss came over and helped him stand. "Let's just call off the patrol. Apparently a fox made a den nearby." He sighed after the apprentice whispered something into his ear. They headed back to camp.

"You don't sound very good, should I get the medicine cat?" Yellowstar asked, a little worried for her.

"Sure, I think Nighttail will give birth to her kits in a few weeks. I'm sure you know what to get." Snowfall said.

Stormhiss padded into camp with Daypaw beside him. "Snowfall?" He called to the medicine cat, feeling Daypaw's blood soak his own fur. "Are you alright?" He asked the apprentice, who only nodded. NO, I'M NOT. WHERE'S SNOWFALL.

(Srsly tho, deciding... ~~either Daypaw, Blackbird, or one of mah kits must go..~~

Wishpaw turned around and saw Daypaw, rushing over to him. Snowfall went back inside the den, getting herbs for him.

"Could it be a side effect from pregnancy?" Yellowstar suggested, not too familliar with this kind of stuff.

Stormhiss saw Blackbird padding up. "What happened this time?" She sighed. "Fox attack. Other than Daypaw, we're mostly fine.." He replied, padding away to the nursery. "Ripplecloud?"

Blackbird blinked. These cats are always getting hurt on patrol. She thought, sitting down.

She shushed the apprentice and laid him down. The medicine cat came back out and dropped some herbs near her. Snowfall turned around and went to get some more. Wishpaw applied Goosegrass and Horsetail, not wanting the wounds to be infected.

Daypaw gritted his teeth, wincing slightly. This hurts, this hurts, this hurts, aaaaaaaaand this is kinda weird. He twitched his tail frantically, longing for the pain to just be over.
