I don't know if this is a bug or not, but I was thinking of sending a dark type to the mansion, but I went to the rumble options and found it didn't pop up. So I went to my item bag and it wasn't there, I might of done something with it but I never touched it.

If you "might've done something with it", maybe you already sent a pokémon, gave it to a pokémon, traded it away,...
Maps don't just disappear and you said yourself you don't know if you didn't do anything with it.
