So, I just tried to play the bug contest and unfortunately it was impossible for me to play, due to very few of the pokemon sprites actually becoming visible...

They just showed up, for the most part, as the broken image link icon, leaving me to try to guess if I wanted to hope to complete the game. Which of course left me with a very low score.

Has anyone else had and fixed this issue? I'm not quite sure what could be causing it...

I'm experiencing this EVERYWHERE, not the bug contest. My own party images are taking 10-30 seconds to show up. I have fantastic internet connection elsewhere. There's just a ton of lag going on right now, I believe, that needs addressed.

Same thing happens for me too, mostly on the bug contest but also elsewhere, like on the Index-page with the pokemon you can hug or give a free berry to.
It happened only once in a while before, usually when there are 500+ players online, but now with the new update it's WAY worse, and it makes the bug contest unplayable because it gives me a low score.

My Internet is quite fast on any other website, and I also updated Flash and other add-ons to make sure maybe it wasn't the cause, but it still acts the same...
So this is really just related to Pokeheroes... and it needs to be addressed.

With upgrades to the Server and improvements to the Bug Contest, this bug has been taken care of :)
