+√α. Smart girls aren't like this. These are called the insecure ones. Smart girls do the exactly opposite (i dont mean they don't think about anything. I mean they are powerful and they won't let you use them or hurt them but they won't avoid it. )

+Emily P. The smart girls are the one who know to look beneath the surface. Insecurity does not make you smart. Getting good grades does not make you smart.
It doesn't matter if you're popular, nerdy, strong, insecure; as long as you know how to take care of yourself and make yourself happy, then you're smart.

+Emily P. xerxes has a good point. also, the strong arent smart. the strong later on, become the weakest. because they fight too much with the negatives people bring, and fall the hardest. smart girls know what they need, the answer to the situation, and avoid all negatives. possibly using insecurity to back away from pain.

Insecurity is NOT a good thing. Being insecure about yourself makes you think bad things about yourself. Being modest is far better.

+Xerxes Break making you think bad about yourself, helps you want to become a better person. all your flaws, can become clean. insecurity helps seek the bad parts about you, and people who care will give encouragement to the insecure one. that will make them become better, and its a great feeling seeing someone whos insecure, change to something greater than a modest person. a modest person would be boring, for they need no change.

So, you're picking someone over how interesting they are. Listen, if some isn't insecure, it's safer for their mental health. Modesty exists because it's a less self-deprecating form of insecurity. It is a far better choice than insecurity.
You said that if someone were modest, they would be boring. Are you f*ing with me right now? Everyone I know is modest to some degree. Are you saying that my BEST F***ING FRIEND is boring? Excuse me, you did not. I don't WANT them to change. If they changed, they would not be them anymore.
Everyone. EVERYONE wants to be better than they already are. Why else do we have people learning to draw, to write, to play instruments, even when they already know how to? TO GET BETTER.
Insecurity is technically a depression of some sorts, because you hate yourself or part of yourself. So please do NOT say modesty makes a person boring. Do you know how many deep breaths I had to take in the duration of this post?
