I've been playing since gen 1 and it took me until Pokemon Black to catch a shiny. Shiny Female Tympole. :)

Mine was a shiny poochyena in Pokemon Emerald.
I didn't even know it was shiny at first lol. XD
As it was my first time playing any sort of hoenn region game xd

Mine was a Shiny Torchic. Now it's a Blaziken and I gave it to my friend, because I quitted but decided to come back. Now I have a Shiny Gardevoir, Gallade and Houndoom

I caught a Koffing in SoulSilver(I didn't even know it was a shiny until a friend told me cx)but then I released it, just cause I wanted to. :P

In Pokemon Soul Silver I've met a shiny geodude, but it used explode and I couldn't catch him ... And in pokemon Red I've caught a Zubat shiny. I've had the best crobat ever ... pink xD

First shiny I ever caught was a Girafarig in Platinum. Right before the lake thats before that resort where it says there a blackout in Sunnyshore, very first encounter. I was surprised it happened.

My first shiny was back in the first Pokemon Silver. I got a purple Drowzee. I appropriately named him Mr. Purple :3

It's funny though. I never had that luck of coming across another shiny until SoulSilver came out.
