Razar growled a little at the Zoroark's comment.
"I've been living the last year off of nothing but berries and
scraps of food that the humans left. I haven't needed to
murder innocent Pokémon. I haven't gone hungry for more than
a few days at most, and that was mainly because of fights leaving
me too injured to scour for more to eat. I don't want you making a
comment about my choices in food, since at least I am civil enough
to not kill others just to eat them."
"It's a harsh world. We're already dwindling in numbers. The humans
who caused this situation are all already dead. Arceus has probably
forsaken us by now. There's no reason to make it worse! Being civil
means NOT killing off those of us that remain without
a very good reason. And I don't count being a little hungry and not
wanting berries as a very good reason. If you were starving, then
yeah, but you just murdered one of the surviving species. If things
keep going on like this, then what little prey-like Pokémon that
are left won't be enough for those who have to feed on them!"
Zorxa shrugged "If Arceus really cared about the world, why hasn't
he done anything yet? Survival is my top priority, and i'll do
whatever it takes to survive the harsh world"
"That's what Forsaken means. He doesn't care about us, threw us
aside, let us suffer. That is why we should not be making things
any worse. Which is what you do if you kill others. And you don't
have to kill to survive. If you did, then you couldn't eat berries
at all. And since you can eat them, you can live off of them, even
if it's not the most comfortable. There's a difference between
surviving and flat out murdering for the sake of murdering."
He growled again, the metal on his tail and shoulders starting to
get a soft glow to it from Ray's body heat rising.
