"You look so different... Do you know what causes this? Maybe it's
something in the air? Or maybe it's an evolution of species thing,
like me being like this..." he said, now fascinated.
Zorxa shrugged, unsure of what really caused it "I'm not sure....
All i know is that it happens at night, and i can't prevent it.....
However, i have heard rumors of an item that supposedly keeps it
from happening, but despite how intelligent i have gotten, i have
no idea where such an item is, or if it exists at all"
Zorxa sighed. He turned around, and contemplated the idea of what
the item looked like. He raised his head to the sky, and spoke
"Well, it's possible... Should we set out tomorrow?"
The Arcanine fusion shivered as the rain fell and he felt it
against his fur. Steam rose as his heat made it evaporate, but he
clearly wasn't comfortable at all.
"Shelter of any sort would be nice," he replied as he got up on all
fours and shook out his fur in a futile attempt to keep it from
getting more wet.
"I don't know where there would be any caves around here, though...
or anything other than the shelter of a tree, for that matter."
Zorxa shrugged, and helped Razar find a cave that they could stay
in. He squeezed the water out of his fur, and looked at Razar
"Should i go find some wood to have a fire?"
Razar shook out his fur once they were in the cave, shaking his
head in reply to Zorxa's question.
"It'll be too wet to burn well, even if I put flames to it," he
replied laying down and huffing out a breath of flames.
Ray gave a yawn and closed his eyes in reply, flicking the tip of
his tail a little as it lay curled around his body.
"Wake me if something happens, and I hope you get some rest," he
muttered.
When morning arrived, Ray opened his eyes and gave a shiver as it
felt cold out to him. He lifted his head and looked outside of the
cave and shivered again when he saw it was pouring down rain.
Zorxa nodded, still not in his normal form. He got up, and went
outside to let the sunlight change him back. Unfortunately, there
was no sun, and he didn't change
Ray shivered again and stepped outside, giving a growl when the
water splashed over him.
"I hope the sun comes out before it gets too late," he muttered,
then moved to take the lead, seeing what appeared to be a mountain
over the horizon. He figured that somewhere up high might give a
good start for what they were looking for.
