Do Clawfairy Breed?

Other than letting Clawfairy F sit in daycare with another Clawfairy M (because we all know babies won't do so), is it possible that they can breed?

I saw the Emera's Dex entry and the Egg group is Fairy. I tried my Togetic and Dedene that aren't my O.T., and the daycare said 'The two prefer to play with the other Pokémon than with each other.' What's wrong? Do I really need a male Clawfairy?

Well, from what I know events can breed with their non-event counterparts.

Also, the chance that it says 'The two... each other' is random from other posts I've seen, even if the two are eligible for breeding. (It also happened to me, too.)

//Moved to Solved, as part of the big Bug/Complaint clean-up.

You can only use the first Egg Group for breeding. Dedenne's first Egg Group is Field, so that's the Egg Group the DayCare is going to look at. Secondary Egg Groups are ignored.
So you don't need the exact same pokémon, but you do need a matching [first] Egg Group.
