As the sparkling reached at him, Gliders stared at her in confusion. However, she didn't seem to be hurt in any way so he found himself letting out a relieved breath while tickling the little sparkling slightly.

Since he couldn't just leave her there, Gliders picked the sparkling up gently. She was so small that he was actually afraid she would just break apart if he wasn't careful enough. After informing the Autobots about his finding through the comm, Gliders started walking back to base with the small femme.

Gliders frowned when the sparkling started wiggling, maybe he had hurt her somehow despite his efforts not to. She appeared to be looking up at the sky so Gliders followed her gaze.

gliders took a step back by pure instinct and gasped as he saw the decepticon. He retreated under a large tree. He hoped it would provide at least some kind of hiding place and the decepticon wouldn't spot them.

Gliders looked down on the sparkling on his hands and then where the decepticon had landed. He fixed his gaze back at the sparkling and reported his location to the autobots. He set the sparkling down and gave her a serious look, "Stay here. My friends will come get you soon, alright."

Gliders transformed and started flying back to the pod, where the decepticon was. The autobots weren't too far away now, they would get the sparkling to safety while he distracted the decepticon.

Gliders barely dodged the shot and landed tranforming back to his bot form. He glared at the decepticon with a smug grin on his face, "Looking for something?"

Gliders looked around them and then cocked his head at the decepticon, playing dumb, "What bot? Did you hit your head while landing or are you just naturally stupid?"

Meanwhile, the autobots arrived where Ripple is.

Gliders managed to dodge some of the shots but was knocked back a bit when a few of them hit him. Growling, Gliders fired a couple of shots of his own, aiming at the decepticon.

Gliders had expected an attack after what he had said but the decepticon was quicker than he had thought and he was too late to block the attack or dodge it.
