According to the first post, the pause would happen after you answer the current question, but before you see the next one.

But then, couldn't people pause it, then go onto a different website and look for the answer, and then abuse that?

Friendly reminder that Riako introduced a Poll option under the user's first post to AVOID spam messages that just say "Support". .w. My contribution to this would be, to prevent anyone from trying to abuse it in any way, is to have a limited amount of pauses depending on the path, maybe? Just as a precaution or something. Though, if pauses are used it should probably not affect the ranklist or prevent that run from being included because it seems like it could potentially be abused as a cheap way to get on the Royal Tunnel Explorations list .w.;

I don't really see how it can be abused since you won't know the question/answers to the next question. The Royal Tunnel is about knowledge, and those with good Pokemon Knowledge will be on the ranklist.

Support, I don't go into the royal tunnel a lot more than I could because one run can take a lot of time and I prefer not to lose on purpose.

I'm using the tunnel a lot more now as I am trying to get finish the pro path. There are times when I have gotten to around 30, and then Mum or Dad have called for me to come and do something for them and I've had to end my run there. Also, at our house you can't be on the phone and the internet at the same time, so if I answer the phone, the internet cuts out. If I had the pause button I could pause it before I answer the phone and the internet goes. So, in other words, I still completely support this suggestion.

No support, you should make sure that you have the time to do the Royal Tunnel especially with Expert and Endless. Not to mention that it might not work and you lose the poke dollars due to it not working -1

For me, getting an hour or two of consecutive free time isn't easy, and I have to strain my eyes and sit in my chair for most of the one or two hours (though most people don't get that far).
Also, the pause button not working is not a valid reason. Any thing implemented on the site could not work and people could lose stuff using it (e.g. the gem cauldron, people have lost lots of gems due to glitches yet it still exists).

Whew, found this. Now that we have the Regis playing a more major role on the site, and with shiny Regis in the Endless Tunnel, I'd like to bring this back to being an active thread. We've got more reasons to implement this now and I'd really like to see it implemented.
