"You killed Boomer!!??" Skye yelled, her mind and magic lashing out wildly, causing the water to churn and form sharp blades, cutting the Gravemind. "You... you delorcion! Filth! Son of a !" She thrashed stronger than before, her anger amplifying her abilities.

Quill kept on using his flamethrower, as his memories of Murphy and Boomer went through his head. He had never felt such anger before. Quill switched out his weapon and took out another load for his mode guns.

"A shame..." the Gravemind muttered. It looked around. "I do believe that everyone needed is here.." He collected it's thoughts. "An ancient facility... not far from here is programmed to destroy the Flood."
"The Ark." Didact said. "It will have activated by now."
"Yes. But it seems that your Elders have failed to tell you... it will only destroy our food. It will wipe all sentient life out of the galaxy."
"Why are you telling us this?" Jorge asked.
"The destruction of your species... will result in the destruction of mine. There is still time to stop the key from turning... but first it must be found. You," it said holding up Didact and Jorge, "will search one likely location and you," it held up Skye, Quill and the Elves, "will search another. Fate had us meet enemies... but this Ark shall make us brothers. Now go." It said unwrapping it's tentacles.
A bright light covered Didact and Jorge and they were gone. Or rather teleported. It did the same me with the others.

Didact got up and looked around. Jorge was near him. He recognized the mountain in the distance. "We're in Africa." He said bluntly.

Skye shot a bright beam of fire at the Gravemind as soon as she could, but then she had the unpleasant sense of being teleported - along with the Elves, Quill and Boomer's remains - into a very unpleasant place. Well, perhaps only for her and Quill - Celebrian was madly hugging a humongous tree. Oh, and they were wet. Skye cursed. "We're either in the congo or the Amazon-" Then she squealed with delight. On her shoulders, her wings were back. Thankfully the fire was out, no there hadn't been a forest fire yet. She flew into the sky, laughing like crazy, and surveyed the landscape. Then, she went back down. "We're in the Amazon!"

Didact and Jorge had decided to go in completely opposite directions. Jorge had given Didact an old fashioned military radio with a locator, so the could track each other.

Quill shook his head. "After i find that, T I'm going to kill you..." Quill began to dash to area of the Amazon to the other. He stabbed a few Apex predators and finally found a weird Building. Quill grabbed his communicator and tried calling. "Guys, I found some weird building. Dunno what it is. Sending coordinates." Quill typed in the coordinates. Man, I miss Boomer... And poor Murph... Quill thought before breaking into tears.

Didact jogged into the forest and scanned the area. The term Library had struck a bell. He knew that there were three in the world, and he knew for a fact one was in the Amazon. He must be near the second. The third would probably be searched later.

And don't follow Quill, I'm headed to his direction as we speak." Then, she disappeared and reappeared behind Quill. The building vaguely reminded her of an ant's head.

Harry yelped as he avoided one such Zerg, before one of Artanis' men killed it. "Be careful, boy!" He shouted.

"Wow. That building is massive - and nothing like I've ever seen before. Do you think it's the Library thingy we were supposed to find?" Skye asked, staring like an idiot at the building.

Didact let out a low whistle. The Forerunner structure was marked with straight geometrical indents. Suddenly, five Forerunner turrets appeared ant started charging he barked a code work and the powered down. He stopped to wonder how the others would get past the defenses and then entered the facility. Jorge followed him in, sweeping the forest clearing behind him one last time.

Skye yelped as the turrents literally grew out of the building and began firing. She grabbed Quill, and both disappeared in a flash of blinding white light. "Everyone, I found the Library! Gravemind, how the hell do we get in there without dying??"
