'You didn't really hear me, I am only speaking to you through
telepathy.' Galadriel explained to Curtis. 'A feat all of my kin
are able to do. Now stop talking so loudly or your life will be in
danger... which it most likely already is, if you ask me.'

The Didact was confused by the sudden increase in motion on his
sensors. The MAntle's Approach started scanning objects. "Stop!" He
shouted. He looked around and disabled his sensors. Something on
the area had obviously jammed them. "I'm putting my weapon down. In
return, I demand to know the nature of this gathering. I want you
to reveal yourself. I want names." He growled. "And I must warn
you, my patience is not infinite. I have shown you a great courtesy
by not incinerating you."

"Alright, alright." Skye said as she exposed herself to the alien.
"My name is Skye. There. I don't know how we met, other than that
an Elf told me you were here. And for the record, I'm immune to
extreme heat, otherwise I'd already be a pile of ash thanks to my
wings."
"Heat..." Said the Didact, stashing away the weapon "is not what
will matter if I fire this. Okay, Skye. I was sent here on a strict
reconnaissance mission. What happened here?" He asked. He couldn't
wait to get back to Requiem, probably to medals, awards and further
promotion.

"If you think you can go back to where ever you came from, you
can't. The Elf who's with me tried. She nearly got genocide for us
humans." Skye said. "There was an explosion. It destroyed half of
the Earth. Some time later, Mutants were created, and strange
things have been happening. The Elf came from another world, but I
suspect you came from an alternate Earth or something." She
explained.
'Skye, I am going to your position.' Galadriel said, as she
went there walking, and silent.
Quill was running away from a town until he saw Skye and Didact.
Quill then quickly grabbed a vine and ran in circles around Didact
and Skye. He tied them together by the legs and chest together.
When Quill stopped he managed to say "Hi..." Quill said as he
gasped a bit "Who are you and what are you... Human or Mutant?"
Murphy (the pet bat) popped his head out of the bag, eating a
strawberry.
The Didact easily broke through the vines. "Pathetic." He muttered.
He used his power to raise Quill into the air, keeping pressure on
his arms, feet and neck. "Do you know who I am, feeble one?" He
asked, taking out his Boltshot. The Mantle's Approach had started
humming again.

Quill, struggling, said "I'll take that your non." Quill then
grabbed the rock he kept at his sleeve and managed to knock the
Boltshot out of his hand. Murphy scrambled out Quills back and hid
behind a tree.
The Didact let him fall back to earth, but kept pressure on his
feet so he couldn't run and made everything near him fly away. "I
am one of the few remaining Forerunners. And it does not do to
offend a Forerunner. But I shall save you the lecture which always
annoys me. Name." He demanded.

"An interesting specimen..." The Didact muttered, looking at
Murphy. "Murphy? My Boltshot." He said, pointing from Murphy to the
gun and back at him. He slightly released the pressure on Quill's
legs. "Upon the promise you will not attack or run, I will let you
go." He said.

Murphy sniffed at Didact and then picked up the Boltshot and gave
it to him. Quill immediatly began to massage his feet "Man, that
hurts..." He looked at Didact and then at Skye, who was still tied
up. "Who's she?"
"Skye." Skye answered. "Mutant, specializes in fire." She added as
she lit up her wings, making them their usual fiery self, and
burning the vines. "Also, the Elf I mentioned a while back? She's
here." Skye deadpanned, pointing at empty air. Time to change
that.
Galadriel dropped her cloaking spell, as the air shimmered around
her and she came into view. She glanced at Quill, then settled her
eyes on to Didact. "Didact. I see you are aqquainted with Skye?"
She said, completely ignoring Quill.
Quill blinked quickly. Twice. Murphy flew back unto Quills shoulder
and took out another fruit, a bannana and began to nibble on it.
Quill looked at Galadriel and asked "Who are you?" He ran behing
her and examined her back. then ran back infront of her in a flash.
"And I see I'm not the only one here with Active Camoflague." He
snapped back. He holstered the Boltshot. "So, what happened, Elf?"
He asked. He kept his guard up. His Suppressor, equivelent of a
machine gun, Light Rifle, comparable to a DMR, and Binary Rifle,
like a 50 Cal. Sniper, all rested around his armor. All run on
energy. He still didn't know these beings and was at a
disadvantage. They were playing on their home field.

"I'll just ru~" Quill stopped when he saw a bear like predator
nearby, Quill turned arounf and ran up a tree and held on. He then
shouted down "PREDATOR ALERT! COME UP THE TREES!"
The Didact actually laughed and hefted his Incineration Cannon.
"Boom." He said and pressed the trigger. There was a blinding flash
of light and the predator started to fall away like this. "Done." The Didact said.

"Was that even necessary? You just alerted any Predator within 60
meters from here of our location." Skye said. Then a new Predator
came. It looked like one giant wolf, it's midnight black coat
contrasted with the blue hue of it's protruding spines.
'Skye? Try not to make him more hostile then he already
is.'
"Says the one who told me to handle the situation." Skye shot back
at Galadriel.
'I'm surprised you haven't told them my name.'
"Nah, there'd be too many questions. Remember what I said about
that book?"
'Yes. Try to avoid telling Didact that.'
