Hazel growled at Celestial, and the prisoner bared her teeth at the
golden-yellow wolf. "Why not? Why are you keeping me here,
anyways?" The she-wolf said. "You came into Sand Pack territory,
and now you are our responsibility. Might you have gone into Forest
Pack territory, you would not be in this situation." Hazel replied
tonelessly. She acted as if she hadn't spoken to Celestial--she
wasn't suppose to interact with the prisoners in the first
place.
"It seemed dull and boring there. It was full of weakness."
Celestial snapped. "You would make a good Sand Pack wolf, if your
other traits were different," Hazel murmured. Did she just
compliment me? Celestial thought, and turned to see Hazel's
expression. It was too late for that; Hazel had already turned
away.
