Inside the mystery box was another, slightly smaller mystery box! And inside of it was another mystery box, and inside was another, and so and so on...

You kept opening the shrinking mystery boxes, over and over... and only when the next one was small enough to fit in your closed palm: you opened it once more, fully expecting another mystery box. Yet, to your confused surprise, when the miniature mystery box opens with a soft click, inside you find a neatly folded paper crane instead.

When you looked for that seemingly unbreakable key that let you open all those mystery boxes, you couldn't find it, no matter how hard you looked.

* You proceed to open another mystery box, not too sure how to react. A heap of empty, gradually smaller mystery boxes stacked on your table... *

Inside the mystery box you find... A bigger mystery box

Somehow, despite the physical limitations of the 3D plane, the mystery box you pull out is bigger than the original box. And yet...
