Pokemon Red.. back before the games were in color. And they did not have male or female. Had a cheat kind of thing to where you could get unlimited amount of one thing in your bag. Unlimited Master balls or rare candies. Sorta miss those days.. and now I feel old.

my first pokemon game was blue, and my first pokemon was squirtle, and also as a side note red version didnt have the infinite item cheat, missingno was a glitch pokemon that lived off the coast of blaines island, if you killed it then the item in your 7th slot (i think) would be increased to 99. it was only available in blue version. and if you caught it it would cause your game to glitch out and possibly erase your save.

as another side note on the coast of blaines island in blue version you could also find other special pokemon, i forget which pokemon but it was an interesting glitch

the first game i've played was i think pokemon crystal! though, it wasnt my game so i couldnt play it all the way through. the first game i owned was either PMD red rescue team or pokemon pearl.

I started with red....loved the game and just had to have at least one game per generation...still missing one sadly haha never got fire red or leaf green...were they any good?
