The two had entered a great canyon area by that point. "This should either be Aurora Canyon," Salamence said, "or Astraeus Canyon. Let's hope it's the former."

Salamence nodded. "Please, watch carefully for anything in your surroundings. If you see anything that looks like a Pokémon statue, tell me. Let's hope we find none."

Grovyle looked around, and didn't see any visible Pokémon statues. "I think we're safe. Nothing around to attack us."

"No, that looks absolutely nothing like a stone Pokémon. Why on earth would you think that? It... It's the WALL of the CANYON, you genius. It's not--"

(Ahem. Sorry about that.)

"Yes," Salamence said. "We need to leave. Now."
The stone Swadloon seemed to stare fearfully at Salamence, though it was motionless, frozen in such a state since the one whom it truly feared stood before it and stole its life force.
