In the faraway region of Delta, there existed a town known as
Sequoia Root town, home to Silverthorn Guild. The town resided in a
tropical forest, near a volcano.
Recently, rumors have spread, indicating that Groudon has awoken.
Pokemon have also reported that the water has been rising slowly.
In the midst of this, a Grovyle has been exploring some ruins when
a couple Flygon attacked him, leaving him for himself. Luckily, a
Salamence found him, and went down to check.
Will the Grovyle and Salamence be able to stop Groudon and Kyogre
from destroying their region?
The waypoint should be up ahead, Salamence thought as he
traveled through the Haze Remnants. I'll have to rest there for
a while. There are far too many Monster Houses, even with
Earthquake to deal with most of the enemies. I can't push myself
too hard with my wing like this, especially since I'm alone; most
Pokémon even have trouble here in groups.
He saw the staircase up ahead and hurried towards it, and, much to
his relief, found a waypoint to rest.
However, unexpectedly, he saw a green Pokémon up ahead. That
appears to be a male Grovyle... They aren't native to this area, so
he must not be affected by the Mystery Dungeon's hostile aura.
Knowing that the Grovyle wouldn't be likely to try to attack him,
he went over to help; he only hoped Grovyle, too, recognized that
he wasn't an enemy.
"Grovyle," Salamence said softly, "you're badly wounded. Please,
wait here while I go through the side path; according to my
research, the side path should contain supplies to heal, and then
lead back here. I'll take care of you in a few hours. Don't move at
all, or you might hurt yourself even more badly; no Pokémon will
attack you in this waypoint."
Salamence traveled through the side path of Deep Haze Remnants,
gathering Berries and Seeds that would help Grovyle to heal.
Unfortunately, he mostly found things unrelated to healing, such as
Blast Seeds, which wouldn't help Grovyle; however, the Oran and
Sitrus Berries and Reviver Seeds he did found seemed close to being
enough. He also gathered some Apples.
When he returned, Salamence wrapped his Heal Ribbon around
Grovyle's wounded arm, then used the Reviver Seed to help Grovyle
regain consciousness and recover his energy. "This is my only Heal
Ribbon, so I will need it back after you recover. It should help
you to heal, but it will also consume some of your energy, so I've
gathered some Apples for you to eat. I've also brought some Oran
and Sitrus Berries."
Grovyle slowly sat up, and looked around as he got his senses in
order. He then looked at Salamence, and smiled weakly as he picked
some Apples and Oran Berries up
"When you're feeling well enough, please tell me what happened,"
Salamence said. "Knowing which Pokémon attacked you is especially
important, as it may have inflicted a status condition that I
haven't noticed."
After half an hour, Grovyle stood up, and studied Salamence for a
couple minutes before speaking "I... I was exploring some ruins at
the end of this dungeon, but was ambushed by a couple of Flygon. I
was knocked out, and possibly hurt badly before they left. Then I
ended up here.."
"Ah," Salamence said. "Flygon... Given that they are 'wild' and
live here, in a Dungeon, they probably don't know Flamethrower...
so the only status effect they could have caused was paralysis,
from Dragonbreath. Such stunning lasts only a short time, so you
should be fine now. Still, the fact that there were Flygon even in
the ruins at the end of the Dungeon is concerning..." All the
more reason to find the Haze Relic as soon as possible,
Salamence thought. I'd better hurry once Grovyle recovers.
"Please tell me when you're feeling better. There's something at
the end of the Dungeon, and it is of the utmost importance that I
retrieve it as soon as possible, so I truly cannot stay longer than
necessary for your recovery. I apologize."
Salamence took back the Heal Ribbon. "Thank you for understanding.
I truly hope that you can fully recover in spite of my hasty
departure," he said. "I'd best be going. Deep Haze Remnant is
apparently a very challenging Dungeon, even if it is after a
waypoint, and judging from your state when I saw you, I believe
that that is entirely correct... You should only leave this
waypoint when you're fully rested. I'll let you keep a few more
Oran Berries in case you're hurt again."
Salamence blinked. "I... I am far more used to traveling alone. I
fear I may not be able to protect you as well as one might expect
of a partner; are you certain?"
"The haze here is thicker as you go deeper into the Dungeon,"
Salamence warned. "If you spot a Luminous Orb, be sure to pick it
up." He led Grovyle through the dungeon to find the stairs.
(I think the plot is the more interesting part of the RP, so would
you like to timeskip through the dungeons?)
