Forge eased off his arm guard to see the extent of the damage. The
cuts were long and deep. "Great." he muttered. He got some
antiseptic from his bag and applied it on the bandages.
~Some Time Later~
Forge put on his chest piece over the bandages and shouted. "Okay!
You can come back now!" With that, he sat down and sighed.

Forge heard these and swore. "Mini-bots." he muttered. He took out
his Shotgun. He also called the 'Mini-Bots' 'The Flood' as they
always came in floods. Ten were harmless. As were twenty. But these
things came in hundreds. "Amy?" he said, just to make sure. All of
a sudden, hundreds of Flood came into the clearing. Forge started
shooting.

Forge finished off the Flood and ran into the forest in which
direction Amy had gone. As he ran, he spoke into the radio. "This
is Sergeant Major John Forge, do any UNSC or SOG personnel copy?"
he waited for a second. "Sergeant Major John Forge, this is Sgt
Major Avery Junior Johnson of the UNSC, we read you five-by-five.
What is your condition?" came the reply. "I have found two
survivors, one has gone missing. There was a Nano-Bot attack at
exactly 0600. I suspect there may be more in the area." There was a
pause. "We've got you Sergeant, I'm heading your way. It'll take a
day at least." replied Johnson. Forge swore. "Just keep on course."
He continued running.. "Amy!" he shouted again.

There was no noises this time, no androids, nothing. There was no
trace of them whatsoever, it seemed like they were out of sight,
possibly even the area.
Forge realized he was lost. "So I prioritize." he muttered and lay
all his equipment on the ground. Water, Food, Shotgun with ammo,
SMG with ammo, Pistol with ammo, Commando Knife, his SATCOM
(Satellite Communication) System and binoculars. He sighed. "Amy!"
he called again. "Draco!" he shouted. No reply. He sat down. And
there were footprints which presumably belonged to Amy. He followed
them. Suddenly, they changed into drag marks, with android
footprints on either side. Forge swore and followed them.

Amy sat in a cell, her hands in cuffs and her legs attached to the
wall. "We will stop you!" She yelled at the androids who cuffed her
up in the cell. "W e w i l l s e e a b o u t t h a t" it bleeped
evilly and walked away. Amy sat down on her bed, it was a plank of
wood handing from a wall by a weak chain. She sighed. "Or will we
stopped them." She said to herself, her hair covering her face.
Forge saw five androids coming out of a room. "INTRUDER!" one
squawked. "Darn straight." Forge replied. He shot all of them with
his Shotgun. "Don't make it too easy, boys." he said, walking over
their bodies. He walked into the room. It was a holding area.
"Amy?" he asked. He knew that the androids had developed a cloaking
ability that made them more or less invisible. This could be a
trap.

Amy looked up at him, her blood was getting cut off by the cuffs
and she was beginning to feel dizzy. "Forge?..." She mumbled. She
tried to walk over to the bars that kept her in the cell but she
fell to the ground as her ankles were attached to the wall.
Forge swore and shot the control panel. The door swung open. He
shot the the cuffs with his pistol, making sure not to shoot Amy.
"Can you walk?" he asked.

Forge sighed and supported her on his shoulder. "Okay, one step at
a time... I'm getting you back to the forest, okay... I wiped out
as many androids as I could on my way here, so we should be fine."
He started walking towards the exit of the facility. Soon they
reached the forest and Forge set her down against a tree. He
reached into his bag and brought out some food and water for Amy.
He sat down without another word.

"What's a team if they don't share their supplies. Here, rub this
on those marks." said Forge, throwing her some kind of ointment.
"Keeps it from getting infected and gets the blood moving quicker."
he said.

"A lot of people would call it 'instinct'. You don't know how many
times people have tried to kill me by ambushes. So many that I've
just kinda developed this thing to know what to do in every
situation." he replied. "Thanks, though."
