"...Since when did I say that?!" She yelled to him and turned back
to Nightpaw. She didn't know much, but she found some cobwebs and
placed it over the wound to stop the rest of the bleeding. She
flicked her tail and sighed. "StarClan... please help me."
She stared at him. 'He sure does care about her..' She thought and
left, deciding to go out into the forest again. Alone. She didn't
get to be alone in peace very often, so she decided to take this
chance to do a quick border check herself.
She padded to the border between EmeraldClan and RubyClan. She
wasn't very surprised as she saw one cat she knew sitting next to
the border line. "Stoneclaw! What do you want?" She growled. The
warrior blinked. "Uh, Lightning bolt, I thought you'd might come.
Look, I need to talk to you." She sat near him. "About what?" He
gulped. "Well, you see..."
"You... what?" She nearly jumped. He nodded. "Yeah. I'm sorry about
before, but the leader was watching, and I had to act that way. I
don't have much time before.." "Stoneclaw!!" A third cat called to
him. He sighed. "Gotta go. But.. Can you come back?" Lightningbolt
bit her lip. "Yeah. Bye." Then he nodded and left.
Lightningbolt watched as he raced off, dazed by what he'd told her.
"So he wasn't trying to attack after all..." She muttered, and
noticed a small stream nearby. Slowly, she gazed into it and stared
at her reflection. She closed her eyes, feeling calm and and for
once, entirely peaceful. Suddenly the bush behind her rustled, and
as she jumped to her paws, a fox poked its head out. She arched her
back and snarled at it. "Go away, mouse-dung!!" She spat, and the
fox, confused tilted its head at her, then shrugged and went away.
She sighed. "I can't believe it."
From there, Lightningbolt checked the rest of the borders and made
sure they were clear. She went for a walk, doing a bit of hunting
and fox-chasing, and searched mainly for any intruders once again.
When will I have a chance like this again? She then dashed
through the bushes to stretch herself out completely, deciding to
explore while she still could.
Lightningbolt wandered on, getting faster and faster with every
pawstep. Then a black and white creature caught her attention. She
skidded to a halt, and peeked at it. Her heart dropped. No.
She then darted away, fearfully panting and clawed her way up a
tree. She knew she was being cowardly, but she couldn't stand it.
"StarClan... Please, please help me." A small tear dripped onto the
branch she was on.
( I'm back from the hell hole I mean school!!)
Nightpaw ran out of camp and asked "so what happened when I was
gone or knocked out?"
Hawkclaw ran after had and hissed "don't run you could get hurt
again!!"
do it! I'm perfect and your perfect in your our little ways
(XD)
Lightningbolt stared as the blind creature confusedly turned its
head in her direction, but then went away at the sound of something
else roaming the forest. She sighed relieved, but still let tears
fall and dug her claws into the branch. I'm getting into too
much trouble on my own. I need to stay focused.
Hawkclaw walked up to a tree and meowed "I'm bored!!" Nightpaw
groaned after him"then climb the tree!!" Nightpaw knew it was a owl
tree by the bones on the ground.
do it! I'm perfect and your perfect in your our little ways
Lightningbolt leaped to the ground and darted away before the
'thing' could come back. She pelted to a new area where there was
just a dirt clearing with a few patches of sunlight. "Nope." She
rolled her eyes and squeezed between two bushes to come upon a few
mice scurrying under the shade. Carefully, she stalked it out, and
pounced.
