You are in a region in which the government controls EVERYTHING. This includes the person you love/get married. In the annual Match Ups, every pokemon between ages 14 and 18 have a person picked for them to marry. They also receive a cottage as well. You may get somebody you like and you may not. This year, you are going to the Match Ups. Just read the following & sign up:
RULES:
No double posts unless completely needed
No spamming
No super-characters (dodge every attack, invincible, etc.)
No legendaries
Keep this to a PG-13 level
I will match you up, no complaining
You HAVE to have a boy character and a girl character
Please keep track of both characters
Your characters may be brother and sister
Your characters will never be matched together

Boy Pokémon's background: He has voluntarily lived on the streets for years, simply because he prefers to look after himself. He has always kept his cool about nearly everything, but even he gets excited sometimes. When he met Angel, who had just been wandering around looking lost, he patiently escorted her back home. She asked him to help her get stronger, which he agreed to. He seems to be a big brother to her.

Boy Pokemon's background: Kazuto's a bit of a lady's man, having hit on most Pokemon in town. He's pretty tough, and likes to be seen as a tank in battle. If someone try's to insult him, he usually just battles them, unless they're a girl, then he'll hit on her.
(I will see the reference if you match Kazuto with Asuna. -.-)

Girl Pokemon's background: Copper is a country-girl, who never went out too far from her house. When she finally did go to the main town, she found she had to be married. It's both a good and bad thing that she doesn't know anyone in town; she doesn't dislike anyone, but doesn't know anything about anyone either.
(And no, I did not know Asuna was a Sylveon when I made Copper. She's my Pokesona.)

Cole: I rushed into the room, clutching my apple (I needed to have a snack). A mew was up on stage organizing its stuff. Who was I going to be matched up to?
Angelina: I stared at the Mew, who was setting up the system. Lots of males and females my age were whispering excitedly to each other. As I took a deep breath, the Mew shuffled through its papers and entered the info into the computers. She spoke clear:
"The following will be paired up:
Copper and Eclipse. You two will be getting a black and white apartment that is along this street,
Angel and Sreth. You two will be getting a White and Gold mansion donated by the magnemite police.
Angelina and Kiba. You two will be getting a Grey and Silver house on the same street as Copper and Eclipse's.
Avery and Kazuto. You will be getting a white and purple cottage along this road.
Asuna and Cole. You will be getting a white and red mansion along this road."

Avery kept glancing at Sreth, who stood just beside her, from the corner of her eye. She was feeling so nervous as to whom she would be paired up with. She gave a nervous smile to Kazuto after their names were stated but averted her eyes soon after.

Kiba was getting annoyed by this 'chosing who you will love system'.
Not too long ago he was glancing at different pokemon and observed them silently then disappeared to his usual spot but by the time he got back he saw the mew announce who he was gonna be paired up with. I get to be paired up with someone named......Angelina? what kind of name is that? He looked up at the details again and found out that he gets to stay at a grey and silver house, I wonder who is copper and eclipse? oh well....might as well get along with my new 'partner' Kiba sighed and started his search for someone named Angelina.
All those who have been paired up please present yourselves to the stage! The mew announced. This is gonna be a new chapter of a new nook for me..... Kiba made his way to the stage.
*With Asuna
Asuna was hiding around in a corner and getting scary glares from passing-by pokemon, she was never the social type and was definitely not ready for battle.
I wonder who this 'Cole' is? I hope he is nice...I wish my brother Kiba was here She started to shiver in the cold corner. She needed the support right now.
Hey look Asuna! you get to live in a mansion with Cole! Isn't he dreamy~ Asuna's friend informed her of further details.
How is that a good thing? I get to live with a complete stranger in a huge house without my family or friends or- Asuna was cut off by her friend, Quit hyperventilating Asuna! your are going to be just fine~ Her friend left her in the corner.
I pray to Arceus that this turns out fine.... Asuna got up and headed out to search for her new 'companion'.

Here goes nothing.....I hope your not a wailord Cole..... Asuna walked over to the stage.

Avery, huh? She's a nice Pokemon, Kazuto was thinking to himself when he heard their names called. He could see how nervous she was from where he was standing, but couldn't quite see her all that well. He shuffled awkwardly towards her, but couldn't get too far in because of the large crowd. He could see the cottage they would be sharing, which he found to be quite nice by appearance.
Copper
Copper felt as if she was sweating buckets after her name was called. She was still nervous just from the crowds, and even more so after she heard her pairing and new home. Why couldn't we be placed somewhere in the woods? she thought desperately, not even knowing exactly what an apartment was. She shook herself to clear her head, but she could hardly focus on finding who Eclipse was.

'Um.... Hi, I'm Angelina," I stuttered.
Cole: I scanned the room for Asuna. Then it hit me that I don't even know what pokemon she was. The Mew sighed and floated towards me. After whacking me on the head, she pointed to a beautiful Sylveon in the corner of the room. I walked over to her at a normal pace. How could I make this not an akward moment? A couple of girls started to whisper and giggle when I walked by.
"Hi girls," I muttered. They all giggled and squealed. I gave out a grunt of annoyance and continued walking. I came to the point when I was less than a meter away from Asuna. Already, this was extremely akward.

With Kiba:
I grunted in annoyance again, I had a few fan-girls down at the ground, this was new to me....I was not very used to getting stares.
I continued my search for this 'Angelina'. The mew was floating around and giving directions to clueless pokemon like me.
I walked up to it and asked, Where is Angelina? The mew nodded and pointed to a clefairy.....
thank you for your assistance I walked towards Angelina and sweat dropped, she must be thinking about how tall I am.....
I stood infront of her and waited for her to introduce herself, soon after the tension in the air was over she managed to squeak out,"Um.... Hi, I'm Angelina" I nodded and let out a loud sigh, I am Kiba.....your new spouse, lets go...we'll introduce ourselves later at home I walked off the stage and waited for her to follow me.
this was going to be a wild ride from now on.....
With Asuna:
I was freaking out ALOT! the other females were giving me evil-glares and snarled at me......where was Kiba when you needed him?
Due to the intense atmosphere around me I put my paws over my eyes and started to count, 10, 9, 8, 7, 6, 5, 4, 3 - My counting was put to a halt and I removed the paws from my eyes. I saw a chimchar walking towards my direction.
He was getting alot of praise and the other females were practically squealing at his presence.
That isn't Cole, is it? I don't wanna get married to a pervert.....and he is so small.... he seemed ALOT used to girls swarming him.
Kiba! where are you? I wanted to run away, the chimchar stopped half a meter in front of me.....this was the most awkward moment of my life!
OOC: (sorry if you don't like Asuna's point of view..... I don't know how to be a 100% girl, but I am used to writing in the opposite gender's point of view thanks to fanfiction...)

Avery saw Kazuto try to get over to her but was stopped by the large crowd of pokemon so he started making her way towards him nervously instead. She looked away, embarrassed, as she reached him, "Uh... Hi...?"
Sreth
Sreth was still confused by the fact he was going to be living in a mansion that he didn't notice Avery leave. He was going to head over to Angel but decided otherwise as he saw Avery with Kazuto. He made his way over to them with confidence. He stopped when he was beside Avery and glared at Kazuto, "I'll be watching you dude. If you hurt her, I'll kill you. That's a promise." Without wating for a reply, he left.

Cole: I bowed down to the beautiful creature in front of me. I quickly got up, snapped my fingers, and waited for one of my butlers to come. A spearow flew down with a present and he gave it to me. I wiped the box clean and gave him the signal to leave. After bowing, he flew off. I turned to Asuna and slowly opened the box to reveal a pearl bracelet I spent hours on making.
Angelina: I followed Kiba Out the room and down the street. He was very quiet and when I managed to take a glance at his face, I saw a serious expression. I felt kinda embarrassed being so short so I flew up a little bit but did my best to avoid eye contact.

With Kiba
I was walking along the road over to my house, with my incredibly scared partner. This government system was really getting on his nerves. I had to look serious and tough, it was in my nature. I didn't need to smile or laugh or encourage anyone....I was alone since the start and I tend to stay that way. I looked over to Angelina, it was if she was afraid of me. I had to say something, I might as well get used to seeing her.
I don't suppose your afraid or embarrassed by me are you? *sarcasm* I should get a medal on how to start a decent conversation.....
With Asuna
I was still hidden and cut off from the world in my point of view but I felt like a magikarp in a bowl, being watched and exposed to other pokemon every second because of the chimchar infront of me.
He was looking quite sleek and well-groomed judging by his behavior. I was going to pounce and run away but he presented himself to me with a pearl-bracelet inside a box, was he offering this to me? I couldn't help but blush at this, nobody ever did this sort of thing for me.....After gathering some courage I managed to squeak out, You don't happen to be Cole, do you? I squirmed deeper into the corner, because I was afraid of what will happen to me next.

Kazuto began to say hello to Avery, when Sreth came and interrupted them. "Um, okay?" Kazuto said quizzically. He shook his head slightly, then turned back to Avery. "So, um, I guess we're living together now." He said.
Copper
"Yes, I am," Copper replied happily, relieved to find Eclipse. With so many other Pokemon around, Copper found herself being pushed closer to Eclipse. "Sorry, I'm not used to so many people being around," she muttered.

Cole: "I am Cole," I said. I walked to the exit and held the door open. "I think its about time we go to our mansion, don't you?"
Angelina: "Wait, what!? No, I'm not afraid or anything of that sort. I'm just a little nervous. Yeah, nervous. That's all. I've been through a lot ever since I was taken-" I stopped talking. That subject was never to be talked about again. I continued to fly until I saw our house up ahead.
