They both were pushed back, and Max lunged a stronger type of punch, a titanium punch. "Arg!" Max yells, as Jake prepares a lightning strike.

jewel watched the fight from nearby in curiosity.
ginger watched from the doorway, ear's perked forward so she could try and listen.
