Shadowfrost flicks her tail. She knew the question was coming. "No.
I didn't. I did hear a brief rustling but I thought I was
paranoid." Shadowfrost looks Gemstar in the eye "He's good at
sneaking around."
Shadowfrost's claws slide out "That tricky little..." Shadowfrost
starts, then cuts herself off. "He does know you don't care what he
gives you, you won't give him anything, right?" Shadowfrost narrows
her eyes "If they launch an attack, I know we can fight them off.
Because you'll do anything for us." Her voice betrays how confident
she is that Gemstar will make the right choices and get the clan
out of this.
Shadowfrost follows her leader out of the den and walks outside the
camp. She quietly patrols the entrance from the outside, stalking
back and forth for a few minutes before ducking behind a tree and
staring at the entrance.
Shadowfrost ducks into camp and stares at the entrance from there.
