Echokit wasn't quite in the mood for anything. Etching inside of her was a sort of pain that a Medicine Cat couldn't heal--the pain of the heart. The kind that never ebbed away, since it would always remain in her mind. She didn't really believe that her mother had forced her way into a patrol to go in war with some other surrounding Clan, but it was true. Echokit didn't want to believe that her mother never came back. But she didn't die in vain, Echokit thought, her ears pinning back wistfully.

The black sky slowly turned into a orange,pinkish sky,then soon a blue,clear sky.Cloudstar woke up,with a small yawn,stretching in her den.

Echokit's tiny ears perked up high, flinching from the sound of the simple rustle of the white-furred leader's awakening. Everything seemed to startle her nowadays. Everything. Even the slight pad of paws leaded down to her mother, haunting her. It was something she couldn't shake off, and she knew it well. Echokit glanced up at the hazy, dimly-colored sky of blue that made her feel sick. Not because of her experience, but because it was just so dull. Echokit had always thought of it that way. She grunted, and buried her chin in her paws.

[Just asking, Dream_Cloud, since I was in the FlameClan RP with you and I'm assuming that you're using the same character name, I should point out that your Cat name is spelled ''Winerpaw'' rather than ''Winterpaw'' and was just wondering if that was a typo or not?]

The calico wasn't startled by the leader's approach, and stopped from grooming her pelt to face Cloudstar with calm emerald-green eyes. "Oh, good morning to you as well, Cloudstar." Moonclaw meowed with a spark in her tone. It was one of her happier moments.

"Moonclaw,could you go hunting? The fresh-kill pile looks sort-of empty." Cloudstar said,then looking at the fresh-kill pile,there were only about 2 mouses and 3 bunnys on the pile.
