Her tail lashes as she observes her mentors stance. She nods and
lunges at her mentor's face and feints an attack, while her mentor
is blinking she ducks under Shadowflight pawing her stomach and
nipping her tail when she's through. She jumps onto her and attacks
her back and neck softly.
Frostpaw, being small squirms from her mentor and paws her nose
before pawing her flank, where she already pawed. He leaps right,
then immediatly leaps left and nips her mentors muzzle before
disappearing behind her.
Shadowflight turns and knocks her sideways, pawing her shoulder and
nips her other shoulder. Springing backwards, she bats her paw and
nips the other. Leaping backwards she watches her with interest,
wondering what clever move she'll pull next.
Foxkit, still at camp, sees a unusual warrior come into the camp.
"Is that cat an enemy?" Foxkit wonders. Then as he sees that the
unusual warrior is meeting Wolfstar, Foxkit shook his head.
Frost paw examines her mentor and dives at her. At the last quarter
of a second she leaps and clutches to her chest, what would be a
deep wound if it had been a real battle. Next she runs across the
training field and lunges, but stops at the last second and
sidesteps her mentor pawing both her cheeks and jumping on her back
again, softly nipping her spine.
Shadowflight purrs in pride then rears up, knocking her off and
swiping her shoulder and nipping her cheek she stops "Great job!
That's enough, let's go to camp."
Breathless Frostpaw nods, despite feeling like falling on her face
and sleeping, she feels a rush of pride and runs to camp before
immediately going into her nest, but tired as she is, she finds it
hard to fall asleep.
After his nap, Cloudspirit woke up and scanned the camp. A kit was
missing... Foxkit! Cloudspirit leaped onto his feet, his side
slightly aching and rushed out of camp to find the kit.
It's okay to be a glowstick, sometimes we need to break before we
glow.
(Ravenpaw needs a mentor; would Cloudspirit be up to it?)
Ravenpaw padded slowly back into camp, exhausted from the fox
chase. She bared no visible wounds or injuries, luckily. The lean
black she-cat trudged towards the apprentice den, plopping down on
the ground just outside the entrance and almost instantaneously
giving in to fatigue, falling asleep.
Frostpaw perks up and glances at Ravenpaw. She stretches and
wonders when she will become a warrior, if ever. She flexes her
claws and pads out of the den, grabbing a rabbit odd the fresh kill
pile and eating it quickly.
