Given where Shade is currently in the RP and where we are in the story, it does work out for other characters not to mess with him. I hope your Internet gets fixed soon.))

Luke turned his head slightly towards the boy as he answered the question. "Yeah, she is. I saw her in the woods not too long ago with another guy who seemed like a ghost or something and the dragon. The dragon flew off with her, but I guess it was too tired to carry her for long," he explained slightly. If the boy was going to follow him all the way into the woods, he might as well know what he's getting into. He had to agree though that she didn't exactly look human at the moment, but her silhouette was unmistakeable against the dragon. He was unsure where it would stop and land, so he kept running to try and keep up. Since the dragon itself was tired and somewhat injured from the trap, he was able to run at the same pace as the dragon's flying. He had to slow his pace however, when the sunlight began to fade. Checking his watch, he noticed that the sun couldn't have been setting at that time of day. "Is it just me, or is it getting darker?" He called back to the boy, wondering if instead something was wrong with him.

"Whoops" sorry about that she said to amaterasu
Glacia holds Amaterasu and puts her down on the grass. Glacia looks up into the sky and also notices that the day was getting dim, and then she heard a twig snap behind her. She saw 2 boys staring at them one at the girl and one at the dragon.....

(OK WHO IS RESPONSIBLE FOR DIMMING DAH DAY?!)

(Lol, that was Tera, since the sun "is" her and how she's feeling affects the intensity of the sunlight)

Dominic looked at Luke, slightly amazed that this had actually happened and also partially not believing what he has just said. He ran along with the boy, trying to keep pace with him but he seemed to be determined to get there as fast as possible. At least until he slowed down, and he noticed the sun's intensity fading a bit, which seemed odd, but he was thinking it might be a cloud or something. "Umm, yeah," he said quizzically, "But it must be a cloud or something... maybe just a dark part of the forest?" He looked around and noticed the dragon was landing, almost instantly forgetting about the sun. "Oh, I think it's over there!" he said and sped up, going ahead of Luke and stopping abruptly when he got to a grassy area and saw the dragon as well as a white haired fox girl laying on the grass. He was more curious about the large dragon that was just sitting there in the grass. "Wooowww," he said, starring at Glacia.

Amaterasu lay back on the grass when Glacia put her down and sighed with relief. She lay down for a few seconds, attempting to regain her calm state from the shaken and dizzy state that she was in. She took a few deep breathes before her ears perked up, hearing the sound of footsteps and a twig snapping. She quickly shot up to see who or what was there and saw the boy from before and some other boy. She just stared back for a second before the realization that she wasn't covering her fox ears or tail and that her birthmarks were probably starting to show through the light makeup that she had on to cover it. She quickly dashed to hide behind the dragon as she tried to get her illusion powers to recover, as the sun started to recover it's previously lost light, but her powers only vaguely covered her kitsune features.

Luke managed to catch up to the boy after he'd run ahead of him, and was amazed by what he saw. The girl from earlier seemed even more beautiful than before. Her silver hair gleamed, and the ears and tail of the matching color only worked to make the girl seem even more gorgeous in his eyes. The red markings that covered her face made her eyes pop, drawing more attention to their beautiful color. He could barely take his eyes off the girl to look at the dragon, or the fact that the boy who followed him was staring at it. As the fox girl leapt to hide behind the dragon, he was rather disappointed. Not moving in case of the dragon, he called out to the girl. "Hey, are you okay? Why are you hiding?" He was worried about her, given the fall, but also wanted to see more of her.

Amaterasu nodded from behind Glacia, even though she knew that Luke couldn't see her. "Yeah, yes, I'm fine," she responded back quickly. She was kind of unsure to why he wasn't at least a little freaked out that she was part canine and pretty clearly not human. Perhaps he didn't see it? Or didn't think it was real? But it pretty clearly was real and she didn't think he could have missed that part, considering he was staring directly at her. "Ummm, it's no reason...." she said, not able to think of any real reason besides letting her get back her energy to use her illusions again. The bright side was that the fall hadn't taken too much out of her, not to the point that she had to go to her fox form. "You guys should probably go home.... this area isn't really a safe place," she added, "We've got things here under control." Not the best excuse, but she was hoping that would at least work a little bit.

Luke could hear something in the girl's voice as she spoke, something that seemed off. She seemed almost uncertain of what she was saying. He shook his head, almost laughing out loud. Reading lots of book exposed a person to various types of people, it was only a matter of matching up a real person's personality to that of a character's. Even with this analysis, Luke couldn't exactly tell that he was unwanted. He didn't plan on going anywhere. "Y-you know, you're ears and tail are p-pretty cute," he managed to say, face bright red. Another part of reading lots of books meant that a person didn't have much experience with human interaction. Boys were one thing, but he had never really tried talking to a girl.

Amaterasu's face heated up at the kind of random and very blunt statement. She moved her head out slightly from behind Glacia, looking directly at Luke. He's a very odd human, isn't he? she thought to herself, but ended up smiling to herself, Well, he doesn't seem scared by it like most people.... She stepped out from behind Glacia, and smiled at him softly, while her ears flattened against her head. "I-i don't think the forest is the best place to stay though, since the hunters are still around...." she started before looking towards Glacia, "Although I can't really think of any places to hide a full dragon." She looked over all of Glacia and said, "Maybe I could use some illusion on you?"

As Glacia turns into a teenage girl she whispers in Ami's ear
"Don't use illusion on humans they kinda start going...bleh"
Glacia stands up and and holds out her hand
"I'm Glacia a dragon human hybrid also known as Draki...."

Luke simply watched with curiosity as the dragon changes into a girl, his face still red. After all he had seen that day, he was strangely not surprised at the idea of a human-dragon hybrid. But that also might've been the books, given he had read many a book where a dragon can change it's form. Books seemed to come in handy a lot when it came to the mythical beings standing in front of him. The dragon girl, Glacia, was quite lovely, exuding more of a dangerous feel than the gently, sunny presence that followed the fox girl. She had said that hunters were still around, and it finally hit him who she meant. "Hunters, like those guys you were dealing with earlier?" He asked the girls, quite aware that the boy from earlier was still there, totally left in the dark. "I actually know of a place where you can hide out for a while, it's not too far from here. I go there all the time when I want to get out the house and read on my own." Luke didn't mention the fact that it was frequented by another person, but he himself didn't know that for sure. There had always been evidence of a visitor, but he had never spotted the mysterious person.

Dominic just stared at Glacia, jaw dropped at the fact that a terrifying dragon was actually just a teenage girl who he was almost a head taller than. "N-nice to meet you," he said to Glacia, a bit of a stutter in his voice. But then Luke started to talk about some Hunters and he was just completely lost. All the while, he was still distracted by Glacia, the intimidating and also not so intimidating dragon girl. "What...?" he asked, completely dazed, "Wait, where are we going?" Then there was a bright light from Tera then really wrapped his confusion up with a bow.

Amaterasu looked at Glacia for a second, but couldn't help but giggle a little bit after. Possibly because this small and not so scary teenage girl had just been a ferocious dragon, in a way to the reaction that most of her mythical friends had gotten when they had seen her in attack form. She nodded at Glacia's comment, but then heard her name and realized that she hadn't introduced herself. "Oh, that's right, names. I have a name..." she said but paused for a second, as if to remember her name, "I'm Amaterasu. You can call me Ami, or Tera, or whatever else you can think of." Her tail swung back and forth a little bit before she realized that she could probably hide it again. "Oh, hold on a second... and don't freak out please," she mumbled as the sunlight shifted around her a bit until her tail and ears had disappeared along with the red birthmarks on her face. "Okay then, let's go," she said with a smile and walked towards the exit of the forest, leaving any shocked people in her path, which happens to her a lot. After all, in all of the stories you can hear, you never hear of a person who shifts light to her desire. That's only the works of a goddess.

Luke shielded his eyes from the bright light coming from Tera, disappointed to see that she had hidden her ears, tail, and markings. Even in his books, he had never heard of some power like what hers seemed to be. Shaking off whatever left him standing there, he ran a little bit to catch up with her. "I'm Luke, by the way," he said, loud enough so that Glacia and the boy could hear him. No point in being that nameless boy in glasses. Walking alongside Tera, he realized how it might've looked if they were just walking around town. His face turned bright red again at the thought. "Um, about this place I said you could hide out at... It's actually an empty warehouse. I found a way in a few years ago, and I've been bringing in things like pillows, blankets, and even some snacks for a while. You guys should be able to stay for a while without anyone noticing you," he said, looking at her face the entire time. Many guys his age might look farther down when looking at a girl, but he was perfectly fine looking at the beauty of her face. After realizing he was staring, he glanced away quickly, his face red again.

Amaterasu looked up at Luke and smiled. "Nice to meet you Luke," she said sweetly, a soft purr in her voice. There was something about this boy that she was curious about, but she couldn't even tell what. She looked towards Luke as he spoke, listening to what he said while still noticing the red color that was on his face. She listened to the description of the little warehouse, which kind of sounded like one of the places she used to live in, but knew that she could go back to her house once the hunters were off of their tails... literally. "Oh cool! Sounds nice~ We can stay there until the heat dies down. It shouldn't be too long," she said with a smile, "By the way, what were you thinking about that's making her face so red." She had a little bit of a mischievous smile on her face when she asked the question, although she didn't really know it was about her. Goddess or not, she couldn't tell what a person was thinking even if someone told her.

((I'm considering adding an evil character a bit later to pick up some of the action~))

Luke's face turned even redder as Tera asked the question, and he knew it seemed kinda suspicious. "I-I um... Well you're r-really pretty and I couldn't help but look at your f-face, and I realized I was staring..." He began, nerves making him jittery. "And well, we'd kinda look like we were on a d-date if we were just walking through town like this... And I-I'm just really bad with talking to girls, especially p-pretty ones like you." He just blurted it all out without thinking, too nervous to do anything else. She'd probably laugh at him, like every other girl he had ever tried to talk to. Which was only one other girl. (Not Helena btw) Luke looked straight at Tera with a serious but nervous expression, scared of what she might say or do.

Amaterasu's face turned a shade even redder than Luke's, since she people normally weren't that blunt to her, or stated their thoughts so openly. She stopped in her spot for a second, just looking at Luke while she processed all of what he had just said. After a moment of shock, her lips curved into a smile, the red still present on her cheeks. "Wh-why thank you," she said pulling herself back together quickly and added, "And I'm not so sure about what you said about being bad at talking to girls. You seem to be talking just fine." She looked straight back at him, not allowing her confidence to falter after her moment of shock. "Well come on, we better get to that warehouse before it's dark out," she said and started moving again, adding a little bit of a skip to her step.

Dominic watched the other two flirting and stayed a few steps behind, still not 100% sure what was happening. He wasn't used to anyone being as blunt as Luke was either, so he just assumed they were dating. Especially from the reaction Luke had had to Tera earlier. He looked over at Glacia and asked, "Are these two love birds always like this?"

Luke could've melted on the spot, having talked to a girl successfully and not gotten laughed at or insulted. "Uh, yeah, we should hurry," he said, catching up to her again. Thankfully, they were almost to the edge of the woods. The warehouse was about a block away from where he entered the woods, so it wouldn't take too long to get there. In it's own way, that disappointed Luke. He wanted to spend as much time as possible with Tera. Aside from not being human, he finally seemed to find someone who would accept him. And the ears and tail only made him more attracted to Tera in a weird way. Bookworm thing possibly.

Amaterasu tried to keep at least a step ahead of Luke, even when he caught up. She couldn't help the bubbly expression she had right now, but she could at least hid it a little bit. She looked around to where they were going, trying to figure out how close to warehouse was. "So how far is this place from here?" she asked, partially wanting to get there soon, since the sun would begin to set in around 20 minutes, and she wanted to be safely inside when that happened. Then there was the fact that the boy she had just met would most likely be leaving once he brings them there.

Luke could almost see a smile on Tera's face, judging from the way her muscles were pulled. Even from behind, he could see that. He was also fairly sure that she was trying to hide her expression, so he didn't try and get from behind her. "Hmm, judging by where we are, I'd say about 10 minutes at a leisurely pace. It shouldn't be dark yet by the time we get there, so lighting won't really be a problem. I've got some flashlights and camping lanterns stuffed away in the warehouse too," Luke replied, studying the area around them. "Oh wait a sec, I need to grab my bike!" He ran towards where he dropped his bike earlier, almost surprised that no one had taken it. Few people walked this way, but the ones who did weren't always the best. "Okay, now we can be on our way."

Luke: What?! No no no no no!!!! You've got it all wrong!!! >///< ))

Amaterasu nodded at his comment, glad that they would be there before the sun would set and her hair would become a light show, alerting the world that she wasn't human. "Okay, that shouldn't be a problem~" she said with a smile. She didn't care about the light as much as she cared about being inside after the sun was gone, since artificial lights didn't really do anything for her. "Oh yeah, that bike that you had tried to hide earlier," she said, not quite knowing that he hadn't seen her when he had first come over there. She had also expected someone to take it, since it's not like no one passed by there. For the month that she had been in that town, she had passed by it at least eight or nine times just by wandering around. "Well good, because I still have no idea where we are going to get to this place.
