"Xena," he said a bit more softly, drawing her attention, "do you remember what happened the last time we worked together to put power in a Fantasy? She was far too strong and only caused destruction in her short lifetime. If you were to give that girl Darkness now, you would risk creating an anomaly; we both know how dangerous our children can be with a lot of raw power." He rubbed his paw across his face lazily.

Jasper groaned with boredom and laid amongst the dandelions, staring at the sky. He stuck out his arm and swirled it, causing the clouds to swirl accordingly.

Xena shot him a murderous death glare as she looked back at him and hissed, baring her teeth at Tempest as the fur along her neck and spine bristled.
''i meant a cub cub, not a god damn human cub you idiot!'' she spat, getting up and turning a bit before she flopped down onto her side with her back to him.
she twitched her tail around with pure agitation and had her ears pinned back against her skull.
''we're flipping almighty beasts given elemental powers and the intelligence of all human kind, yet the male mind can't comprehend womanly things whether they be human or animal...'' Xena grumbled.

Maxwell sighed and slowly relaxed, but simply kept an eye on Jasper, waiting to see if he needed to change spots or not in his hiding place.

Tempest only sighed, a low thunderous rumble barely audible from the back of his throat, and remembered why he and Xena hadn't spoken in millennia. Most of the time they got along--Darkness and Weather were corresponding elements, much like how Light and Nature were--but when they fought they used to leave regions in dust behind them.
"I'm afraid there's not much that can be done there," he said sympathetically, "although I suppose you may be able to mirror some of Willow's actions. She used to train up her Fantasies and mother them in a sense, help them harbor their powers or whatever. If that'll help any."

Skye quickly shadow-ported her way through the forest, taking only seconds to skim her surroundings before switching places. She stopped by a spot where Tempest was laying and huffed, thinking of her own brother, before brushing her hair behind her shoulder and approaching them. "Hey, bud," she cooed softly, stopping when she heard him speak through a series of what sounded like growls and purrs. "Whhhhhhat the hell?" She mumbled, seeing the huge panther lying near him.

Xena perked up and looked over, spotting Skye and purred softly, her gaze softening as she sat up and sat more elegantly.
''hello little kitten'' she said in human language.

It... speaks, Skye thought, her bewilderment showing on her face. She stepped back, putting her hand slightly in front of her. Darkness surrounded it, concaving to the center of her palm and seeming to darken her light blue eyes by at least five shades. Tempest mewed at her disapprovingly, shifting and gently poking her with his horn. Skye looked at him with confusion but slowly lowered her hand, canceling the aura so that the light returned to the area undisturbed. "Who... are you?" She asked slowly, trusting Tempest.

Xena laughed as she turned more to face Skye and curled her tail around her paws while purring with amusement.
''your little attempt to attack me would of of been useless against the very beast that granted your ancestors those dark powers kitten.... the names Xena'' she said.
she soon stood and padded over, giving Skye a full on affectionate lick to the face and flopped down by her and Tempest before booping his nose playfully with her paw.
''and you mister, deserve to share your beautiful voice with the human cubs, i and the others do when we have to, so you should too'' Xena said sternly.

Skye grimaced at the lick and wiped her mouth with her sleeve. Tempest only mewed in response, swishing his tail serenely. She sighed and looked at the both of them, figuring an ancient beast would know what they're doing. "Tempest, did you see Maxwell anywhere?... He ran off while we weren't looking..." She turned to Xena hopefully. "Nature-light Fantasy, kinda young?"

Venom sniffed the air curiously and pawed the ground, sensing the presence of Fantasy power. He swished his tail and mewed, grabbing Robin's attention. "Do you smell him?" Robin asked, bending down so he could look at his beast companion. Venom roared--although his roar wasn't fully developed, and it sounded more like a raspy hiccup--a leaped through the portal that opened in front of him. It closed and in a moment he was gone, leaving Robin bewildered and concerned.

Venom bounded through the forest, reaching Maxwell quickly and pawing at his legs.

''hun i can really only sense fantasies of my element, so i'm sorry, i haven't seen the boy your talking about'' Xena said as she shrugged.
the large panther then turned to Tempest and gave an innocent but affectionate lick up the bridge of his nose and purred as she pawed his face.
''speak human, i know you can you stubborn cottenball, you've done it before so why not do so now?'' she asked.

Maxwell jumped and around, causing the brush to rustle as he looked down at Venom and pinned his ears back.
''Venom.....! what the hell are you doing here.......?!'' he whispered somewhat irritated.

Skye sighed in defeat but looked curiously at Tempest to see if he could speak. A discovery like this would certainly deem the interaction not useless in her book. "I'm old, Xena," Tempest replied, still incomprehensible to Skye, "my human-speak is of a forgotten dialect and even so it's terribly broken." He rubbed his cheek against her head, flattening her ear, and swirled back to lightly touch his nose to Skye's head. She looked up at him in confusion but realized that it was a parting gesture, to which she begrudgingly slunk back into the darkness of the tree behind her to teleport somewhere else.

Venom's ears pinned back, sensing the aggression in Maxwell's voice, and he grabbed Maxwell's tail in his teeth and lightly tugged him towards the portal that he had created behind them.

Xena huffed when he said he couldn't but purred when he rubbed his cheek against her head and went to nuzzle him in return, but stopped herself when he whirled around to send Skye on her way.

Maxwell snarled and pulled his tail free, baring his teeth at Venom before grabbing the little hybrid creature by the scruff and flung him through the portal.
i'm NOT going anywhere until i find Fallow! he mentally bellowed, hackles standing on end and growling somewhat loudly.

Jasper stuck his hand out, a strong gust of wind curling tightly around Maxwell. He clenched his teeth and the winds lifted the wolf up, slowly, and closed the gap in between them until Jasper's malicious blue eyes pierced through his soul. He tightened his fist and the air gradually began to pull from the wolf's lungs into what was an incredibly prolonged asphyxiation. "Not quite a normal wolf, I see," he murmured, his wind constraints tightening as he drew a blade and meticulously pulled back Maxwell's eyelids to point the tip incredibly close to the iris. He glared, inspected it closely, and stepped back.
"One of Mavis's little friends, I'm presuming? How did you find us?" Jasper snapped, sheathing his blade in favor for his staff.

Maxwell gasped for air as he was grabbed and was being gradually suffocated while glaring at him, struggling a bit before he slowly passed out, going limp while his form seemed to morph back to its human state.
the air that gripped him wrinkled his clothes and messed his hair up.

Jasper sighed--they never lasted as long as he expected they would. He released Maxwell, cocking his head and vaguely recognizing the human before him, striding back to the house and poking his head in. His demeanor had changed entirely. "Oi, Belle, Justin... both of you--get over here." There was a huff in the distance as Belle slouched to the living room, her eyebrow raised in unamusement. "What'd you do this time? Wait, before you complain, I know you stole one of my daggers you bi--"
He tossed it at her and disregarded her insults, spotting Justin in the corner and cutting her off. "There's a kid right outside of the house that I need you two to handle. He's part of that little group, you know what I'm talking about. Nature fantasy, maybe a halfie, but I'm sure you'll be fine. I want you to take him to that nearby barn, maybe do a little torture and figure out what he knows. Just don't let him out--hostage, kidnapping, whatever you want to call it. Can you handle that for me?"

Justin perked up from where he was sitting on the sofa, his hair back up in a bun and wearing a solid black tank top, and stood up before walking over and crossing his arms.
he simply walked past Jasper and headed outside towards the fainted fantasy.

Belle balanced the blade on her fingertip as she listened to Jasper speak. "You need both of us for this?" She asked, already knowing the reason--Jasper didn't trust Justin enough to handle such matters on his own. Jasper raised an eyebrow and flicked a finger, a strong gust of wind shoving Belle out of the house and against the railway. She turned back and swore at him before lugging herself off towards Maxwell. She stared down at him with her hands on her hips, recognizing him as Draco's brother, and scooped down to pick him up.

Maxwell was wheezing quietly in his passed out state, not having moved an inch since Jasper left him there.
''dang, Jasper did a number on him but there isn't even a scratch on him.... his brother and friends must already be looking for him, so we gotta hide him quickly before they find the cabin'' Justin said.
Justin's left eye shifted color's to Umbra's and they quickly chimed in, giving a lopsided grin as he took over the one half of his face.
''but i get to torture him~ i haven't gotten to torture anyone in ages!'' came Umbra's tone of voice, giving an eerie giggle.
they both created a cloud underneath Maxwell and made him float before having the cloud follow them to the barn.

Belle pulled back and walked beside Maxwell's body, Umbra's words making her blush. "It's not soundproof there, but it's blocked off from all light--we can just force him to be nocturnal. I haven't had the chance to torture, much less around this area." She worked the hatches on the barn door and opened it for Umbra as they approached it. It was hardly recognizable as a barn--pitch-black, musty, and smelling vaguely of rot. Belle gestured to the shackles facing the wall and flicked on a scintillating fluorescent lamp that shone directly at it. She pulled open a curtain near the corner of the barn, revealing several syringes and concoctions, and began to mess with them while Umbra shackled him.

Umbra soon took over fully, then had Maxwell float over to the shackles as he followed the dark cloud, then sat him down to where Maxwell was sitting up and shackled his arms as quickly as he could since he was starting to stir.
he jumped away one he was fully shackled and stayed hidden in the shadows while watching, seeing Maxwell slowly wake up and coughed a bit, looking around with blurry vision as he tried to get his barrings.
he's awake..... Umbra thought, a cruel grin slowly creeping onto his lips while a gleam of maniacal joy shown in his pink/yellow gaze.

Belle glanced back to make sure the barn door was locked and walked over to Maxwell, flicking on a scintillating fluorescent light directly in his face. She rested her knee on his side, pulling back his head to plunge the syringe in the side of his neck. She caught Umbra's face from the side, his grin plastered in her mind as she backed away and nodded at him to let him go first. She blushed as she pulled up her hair.

Maxwell snarled in pain, teeth bared since he still thought he was in wolf form,but was still too out of it to fight back.
he clenched his teeth while glaring in the direction he heard footsteps as his hair covered his face a bit, now fully awake as he tugged on the shackles a bit.
Umbra stuck his hand into a shadowy portal as he pulled out a whip and a pair of scissors along with a roll of duck tape, then got up as he strode over to Maxwell, causing Maxwell to snap his attention to umbra.
''where am i... where's Fallow?'' he asked, to which his only reply from Umbra was him taping his mouth and cutting his hoodie off.
