Name: Sand Star [pre-named] => Desert Star
Nick: Star
Cutie Mark: Waxing Crecent moon with a six sided star to the top right, a four sided star to the left, and a five sided star to the bottom right.
Gender: Female
Anatomy: Slender body with long legs and large ears. Fluff at the end of her legs by her hooves.
Desert Star is a delivery pony, using the stars at night to guide her direction. As she was born and raised in the desert, she prefers to move during the cool of night and rest during the heat of day.
While Pegasi are usually quicker in most areas, in the desert the sandstorms tend to keep them grounded and with lack of the usual footing, it's hard for them to work. Unicorns may have their magic, but the vastness of it all puts their endurance to the test. So having an earth pony that was raised to travel through such conditions, who can read the signs for oncoming storms and keep on path without losing the way in the maze of her home is the best choice for delivering important goods. Especially if what you need delivered is time sensitive.
