Sounds effect to PH
Forum-Index → Suggestions → Rejected → Sounds effect to PHThe point is: PH is to quiet, and we need to give it some sound, because it is actually "Boring" to be on the site. Sounds is very important for sites and gives alot to think about for the user and that's why i think there should be sounds on PH.
Have you ever played a scary game or seen a scary movie? If so they're really scary but if you turn off the sound it's not as scary, that means that the sounds effects, the player alot and has a big gap in the brain on how the user feels seeing a happy movie with happy music or a scary movie with scary music.
In addition, it would add unnecessary lag and, if it isn't optional, would prove distracting, and also rather annoying for the players who like to listen to other things while playing.
I know it would add more depth to the game, but this is a website, not a video game, and it really shouldn't be compared. (They don't require the same things to be entertaining.)
As an alternative to having automated nature sounds and notification noises, I suggest looking at the userbar to see when you get a notification and simply looking up nature sounds (this was the first result when I did so) to listen to them. ^^
Having sound added to the site, other than notifications, would be a major annoyance to me, and unless there was a way to permanently MUTE it, I would absolutely hate it for interrupting everything else I do. (I already hate ads that make sound on another website I'm on, thus I don't frequent that website as often due to them. This suggestion would wind up having the same effect to me. I would find another site to spend more time on while sometimes checking back on here, until I just forgot about the site.)
