Main Personality Idea:
Rules of SilverClan.
1) If you escape SilverClan boundaries, you will be killed.
2) If you disrespect those with higher reputation, you will be severely punished.
3) No love at all is tolerated. To any reputation ranks. Ever. You will be killed against charges.
4) Those with a better reputation than you are in charge of you.
5) Leader is the best. Deny the Leader, you will be killed.
Blurb:
SilverClan got its name when they first discovered their territory, claiming that the healthy Birch Trees from a distance looked like a sacred silver to them. First led by their leader, they learned the ways of the warriors guided by StarClan. The cats had a Great Battle, and split later into four Clans--SilverClan, PoppyClan, NightClan, and PearlClan. However, when the fourteenth leader of SilverClan chose the wrong deputy, the tender, caring SilverClan changed. The leader, Branchstar, made new rules--indicating love, disloyalty, and disobedience to the charges of being killed. Ages after ages, SilverClan's ambitious manner grew into just plain evil, as they are more of a Government than a Clan.
The biggest rule of them all was love; as any cats to disobey the leader's words would be killed against charges. Without kits, the once kind SilverClan stole kits from other Clans, so their heritage would grow on. The other Clans abused SilverClan, and another war started--giving the now ruthless, cat-eating, fighting cats a victory, and they used the bones of their enemies to create a wall over their territory, too wide to pass over, too strong to truck through. The Clan grew at such a wondrous rate that there was now enough cats to the point where it didn't matter if they were killed, and that they had guards everywhere.
Main Idea:
We're going to break the love rule with four characters, two she-cats and two toms.
My form:
Clanname: Sunfur
Gender: Female
Appearance: A long, glossy honey-brown pelt with light tawny-brown stripes and a creamy-white underbelly that reaches to her chest, white paws and tip of tail. She has dark, calm savvy-blue eyes that see, somewhat cunning but trusting. Her left ear is slightly torn.
Main Personality Idea: Sunfur is maybe just a bit bothered, although ever so rarely does she mew when in public, since the guards can hear her. She just hates to be taken care of, but is very loyal in terms of her friends (and love interest).
Clanname: Foxwhisker
Gender: Male
Appearance: A fluffed-up reddish-brown coat that is always messy, an ever so fluffy tail, and brown paws. He has a scar across his muzzle, a few specks of white on his coat, and blue eyes.
Main Personality Idea: He loves Sunfur, as she returns it. Although he just can't help but save her every time she falls, he isn't the softest person in the world, but he can't watch when they kill the rebel-like cats in public at the Meeting-Hill.
Gender: female.
Appearance: sleek ginger orange pelt color with white mitt's on all four paw's, half of her tail missing due to a fight that tore half of it clean off, a lightning bolt shaped rip in her right ear caused from almost being ripped off(lets just say she had a fight long ago, lol), and sinister crimson red eye's.
Main Personality Idea: brave and caring with a bit of a stubborn streak, also rebellious against the leader's rule about the restriction against love interest 100%, never was one to follow the rule's but the old one's the old leader had.
~~~~
Clanname: bladefang.
Gender: male.
Appearance: thick storm gray pelt with a few black splotches here and there, and is blind in his left eye, eye color being an icy blue.
Main Personality Idea: a thick headed tom-cat but does have a soft spot for mousefur, and tries to keep it secret from the leader and guards, and the same rebellious side as mousefur.
Sunfur brushed through the long stalks of bright grass beneath the silvery, common birch trees of SilverClan territory. Sunlight sliced between the branches, casting dapples onto her glossy golden pelt. She glanced up at the clear sky that was layered in a barely visible, fading steams of morning mist. Her jaw opened, taking in the scents of the prey around her. She paused for a moment, unsure which of the tempting aromas she was to track down. It had been a while since she'd hunted for the 'Clan'. "It's not a Clan. Its a freak-controlled prison," was one of her favorite motto's to describe this place. Yet, the cats here were so ignorant.
They actually allowed their so called 'great leader' to bind rules on them, and for the sake of StarClan, love was punishable by death. Sunfur thought it was so much wiser to have kits rather than steal them from other Clans. The only other ones who actually noticed was her crush, Foxwhisker, her best friend, Mousefur, and her other best friend, Bladefang. She continuously controlled the amount of racket she was making, and crouched down, her eyes barely able to hover above the grass. She saw the tiny, white whiskers and brown fur of a mouse, picking at a berry in a bush. That was one of her worst abilities: jumping into a bush. But she did it anyway, with a kick of her hindlegs and an outstretch of her thorn-sharp claws, her dull yet large teeth crushed the mouse's neck, ending it. She quickly thanked StarClan for their blessing, and went to head back to the heart of the prison, the 'camp'.
(You can tell I'm excited about this XD)
"Greetings, Bladefang," Meowed Foxwhisker to the deeply gray-furred tom, with a stiff lash of his puffed-up tail. He sat down on his friend's right side, respecting the inability of Bladefang's right eye in silence.
''hello foxwhisker'' bladefang said with a small nod.
his left ear twitched and he sniffed the air.
he muttered something under his breath and looked at foxwhisker.
''seem's like sunfur went hunting..... i can smell fresh-kill in the breeze..'' he mumbled.
due to his sight loss in his right eye, strangely his sense of smell strengthened.
''and shall you need more to help hunt foxwhisker..?'' mousefur asked while bladefang kept quiet.
he wasn't so good at acting as foxwhisker, sunfur, or mousefur.
Although she was the kind of person who could stay entertained while gazing at the tranquil mountains, or perhaps the river, she was still bored. The river was near the Wall, and it was a bit disturbing going there... The mountains... Also covered by that wall. Sometimes Sunfur just wanted to pad up to that wall, and scream "GET OUT OF MY LIFE!" and tear the wall down bone by bone by bone. But what would that earn her? Death. Sunfur wasn't just going to let herself die here. Her main goal in life was to die with Mousefur, Bladefang, and Foxwhisker by her side. Oh and yes, out of SilverClan territory.
Foxwhisker unsheathed his prickly, hooked silver claws and hooked them to the surface of a Birch Tree. He hauled himself up, switching from sturdy branch to branch until he could see it. There it was. Over the Bone Wall... He gazed off into the distance of what seemed like blue mountains, the scents of prey, the warm sunlight. It all seemed so much happier over there. Too bad Sunfur was too stubborn to climb up the tree and look at it with him. He found that admirable about her, though.
''these rule's are just simply annoying..'' she grumbled.
''well we have to listen to them... otherwise we're dead.....'' he muttered, dropping the garden snake's limp form onto a small pile they made.
"With all of you," She added quickly. "This time I mean it. We've talked about it... But I think we're getting closer to the time when we do it." She croaked. Sunfur wished for so much freedom and this ambition was so strong that sometimes she couldn't bear it. Foxwhisker inched closer to her, and Sunfur buried her muzzle into his shoulder.
mousefur looked over shoulder at a boulder leaning against the cave's stone wall then back at her friend's.
''we could tunnel our way out...!'' she whispered loudly.
''we can hide the tunnel entrance behind that bolder and dig through one at a time, when one of us goes out hunting, come here and start digging at least a few paw-stride's then come back with some fresh-kill once you think you've done a paw-stride in the tunnel'' she added.
bladefang nodded in agreement and nuzzled mousefur's ear.
''i agree with her... it could work'' he said.
''probably.....'' she mumbled.
bladefang had his gaze outside, his teeth slowly coming into view.
a shadow darted past the entrance heading back to the camp.
''what ever it is... we have to go, now!'' he yelled and bolted out the door, heading straight for the tree.
''oh no... come on!'' mousefur said fearfully as she pushed both of them out of the cave and she started climbing the tree after him.
''the only way we have now... is over!'' he yowled and jumped onto the very top of the wall, the whole thing started to tilt.
mousefur leaped down next to him, the wall tilting a bit more.
''come on sunfur! foxwhisker!! its now or be killed by the guard's!'' she yelled.
Sunfur glanced at Foxwhisker, and they both burst out laughing. "You two... That was a squirrel." Foxwhisker chuckled. "Your being paranoid," Sunfur agreed. The guards came rushing to them. "Hey!" One yowled. Sunfur glanced at Foxwhisker. They both knew Bladefang and Mousefur made a racket, and two guards came bowling forwards. Foxwhisker glanced at Sunfur again.
"Sunfur, I--" She cuffed him in the muzzle with her claws sheathed. Sunfur leaped at the brown-furred guard, her claws slashing wildly at the guard's stomach. The SilverClanner scowled, and Sunfur's teeth locked around his neck as she bite, her teeth sinking through flesh. A paw slammed onto the warrior's muzzle to keep him shut. She kept biting, and felt the warrior gasp for air. Her grip only grew tighter.
The warrior finally grew limp. She glanced at Foxwhisker, but the warrior he'd been fighting had lost too much blood from a wound. Without a word, they bounded up to the wall of skulls and bones. Guards roared commands, yet all Foxwhisker heard was a racket of yells without meaning. He bounded up the skulls, they were slippery. Sunfur was way behind him. He stopped; Sunfur wasn't going to be left behind. She slipped a bit on a skull, but he caught her in his fox-teethed grip, heaving her up as he climbed. She glared at him. "You really didn't have to do that, you know." She hissed in dismay.
"But I did." Was his only argument, and he set her down when they were on the top. They glanced down at the wall. "Uh... You guys? We might break our necks at the least jumping down from this thing. The skulls are too slippery to climb down, so..." Foxwhisker began. Sunfur pressed his muzzle to his; he got the message: 'Shut up.' That slowed him down a bit. His limbs seemed to be struck, and his heart hammered against his ribs. "Move on." Sunfur whispered in his ear. "Sunfur, I... You just... I mean... The rules..." He stammered. Her warm gaze locked with his, and for the first time he noticed her in joy. Her eyes shimmered so much with her pelt, and she almost looked younger. "We're free now, Foxwhisker. We're free." She purred.
"Jump!" Was the last thing that came out of Sunfur's mouth as she leaped off the wall. So, maybe she'd been overdosed a little. Maybe she'd overreacted. But she was free. That was all that mattered right now. Freedom. She landed with a tumble on the grass over the wall. Ow. Okay, so maybe the grass from over the wall wasn't as plush as she'd dreamed. Her bone didn't crack, though. Hopefully.
Foxwhisker looked in shock as Sunfur jumped off the wall. "Sunfur!" He shrieked. She rolled on her side, and her head raised. He let a sigh of relief. Turning to Mousefur and Bladefang, he eyed them. "So... I guess we jump." He meowed. Yeah, that was a stupid idea. It was that or get killed. But Foxwhisker did want to die in freedom, so death wasn't an option. "Mousefur? Bladefang? Pray to StarClan that another Clan finds us down there. Maybe NightClan or PoppyClan or PearlClan finds us. I know they're better than we are..." Foxwhisker assured. StarClan, I pray that we'll find a better Clan on the other side. He thought, and his back legs didn't listen to him anymore. Maybe they were too dosed with the though of freedom, too. He leaped off the wall, and he felt like his fur was falling straight off as he fell.
they didn't even care, they wanted freedom.
when they both landed they tumbled a pretty good inch from the wall moaning.
''that... was the most craziest idea we all had....'' bladefang grumbled as he sat up and ruffled his pelt out.
''no kidd- ow!!'' mousefur yowled as she stumbled and fell flat on her stomach.
she licked her left paw and winced.
''i-i twisted my p-paw.....'' she murmured.
he walked over and sat down next to her looking at her paw.
''i think you just sprained it.. that's all....'' he reassured.
she nodded and sat up, leaning against bladefang for balance.
''we're finally free..... free from that horrible clan!'' mousefur said happily.
''yes... no more of those stupid rule's, a chance to go back to the old rule's if we go to one of the other clan's'' he said.
he pressed his muzzle to her's and mousefur purred quietly as she nuzzled him fondly, causing him to purr as well.
"I'm not hurt." She meowed in a simple reply. Those cunning blue eyes of hers twinkled, possibly of the calm blazing sunlight from above. Her nose wasn't scrunched like usual, and her long silver scythe-like claws where unsheathed. Sunfur's magnificent claws ripped at the ground, soothingly like a twoleg petting a kittypet.
Plop. Foxwhisker's scratchy whiskers twitched as he turned to see a stormy-gray lump of fur land. A sleek ginger she-cat landed next to him, but her wrist twitched and she groaned.
"Hey!" Came an abrupt hiss that ruined the group's moment of joy. Sunfur's neck stretched out as she saw a light brown tabby she-cat with amber eyes that shone ablaze and long, soft, feathery fur. Long, stern claws unsheathed from the tabby's over-sized paws, and her dull but strong-seeming teeth were bared. With those brilliant amber eyes, she eyes Sunfur. "I haven't seen you cats at the Gatherings. Why is this so?" She demanded.
The warrior eyed the Bone Wall. "Why are you so close to SilverClan territory? I'm very sure the message of the Wall says not to go near. You guys reek, too." She meowed, her nose wrikling in disgust. It was only Sunfur's luck that the she-cat wasn't all too bright. "We heard some legends about the Clans here, and we thought we might want to join one of them." Sunfur meowed innocently. The warrior looked at her. "Why would you want to join SilverClan?" She scowled.
"We were just camping out here," Foxwhisker meowed; he was catching on to Sunfur's plan. "Do you know of PoppyClan?" The warrior asked, and her chest puffed out proudly, an sign that she was obviously in the Clan. Foxwhisker nodded eagerly. Sunfur had to admit, he was a good actor. "That's the one we want to join most. It just sounds so tempting!" He chirped.
The warrior's eyes glinted, and she meowed smugly, "Be lucky I'm a PoppyClan warrior myself. I'll let you come to Camp, and then we'll see if our leader Aquastar will let you join." She turned away, and headed towards the hill. Every once in a while, she checked back her shoulder. "PoppyClan warriors are fast, you know. Tell me if you're having trouble keeping up. I'm Birdflight, by the way," She added.
mousefur leaned against bladefang for balance due to her spraind paw.
''and i'm mouse... strange name i know....'' mousefur said quietly.
they both followed birdflight and kept quiet.
