Serenity soon reached the lake and looked into the grayish-blue water. She didn't know why, but she leaned down and stuck her front right foot into it. As soon as her foot roughed the surface, the water turned black. Immediately, Serenity felt a rush of both energy and pain. What's going on? she thought. It feels like something is taking over my body.. The flow of energy then stopped and she collapsed on the ground. She stood up and calmly walked back to where Uxie and Phoenix were, her eyes glowing red.

Phoenix looked up as Serenity returned, but she felt something off about her. "Serenity?" Phoenix asked. "You ok?"

Serenity just stood there and stared at Phoenix and Uxie. "Something weird is going on here...." Uxie whispered to Phoenix.

"Where... is.. the Time Gem?" Serenity hissed in an unnatural voice. At the sound of the Time Gem Uxie got a panicked expression and looked around nervously

Phoenix growled and took and attack stance, only slightly wincing at the pain from her wings. "Who are you? What did you do with Serenity?" She asked.

"Where. Is. The. Time Gem?" Serenity asked again, this time sounding slightly angered and she looked straight at Uxie. "Don't worry, my sisters are on their way to help us as we speak.. we just need to keep Serenity occupied until then." Uxie whispered

"Got it, but if it comes to a fight, you need to get out of here." Phoenix whispered. "My wings are still hurt and flying might be the only way to stay free." Phoenix never took her eyes off of Serenity. "Give me back my friend!" She yelled at it.

Serenity ignored Phoenix and stared at Uxie. "Where is it?!" she shouted at Uxie. "Why are you looking for it and how do you even know what it is?" Uxie questioned.

Phoenix stayed between 'Serenity' and Uxie, ready to intercept any attacks.

Mesprit and Azelf were only moments away from where they were at.

At the sight of the 3 legendaries, Serenity got frustrated. A strange red aura appeared around her and her eyes turned a darker red.
"Mesprit! Azelf! Thank goodness!" Uxie said happily, letting out a sigh of relief.

"We came as soon as we could." Azelf said.
Phoenix saw the red Aura and unleashed a sandstorm at her, blinding her. "GO! NOW!" She yelled at the three of them, leaping into a tree and continuing the sandstorm only at Serenity.

Serenity walked towards Phoenix, barely even noticing the sandstorm. When she saw Phoenix, she ran at her, full speed.

"We can't leave you! Just come with us, you can't stop her or get her back! she's gone!" Uxie wailed. Why is this happening again..? she thought.
Serenity turned towards Phoenix and scowled. "Stay out of this outsider!" she hissed. She then ran towards the Lake Trio and used Razor Leaf.

"SERENITY IS MY FRIEND!" Phoenix yelled, blocking the razor leaf with sandstorm and hitting Serenity with dragon tail. "I WILL NEVER GIVE UP ON HER!!" Phoenix looked at the trio. "NOW GO!" She unleased a sandstorm all around, pushing the lake trio away.

"She's so stubborn!" Uxie shouted. She then flew down, picked up Phoenix, and flew away from the scene as fast as she could.
When the sandstorm cleared Serenity realized that she was alone. "You may have gotten away, but I will find you, and the Time Gem will be mine..." She said with an evil grin.

Mesprit and Azlef were on either side Uxie. Phoenix struggled in her grasp. "Let me GO!!!" She yelled at her. "Serenity is still in there!!" There were tears in her eyes. "She is my friend! I CANT give up on her!!"
