Small description: Brrr! Chilly! Here on one of the elemental islands, the snow seems to be always covering the trees. The people here seem to prefer to hang out inside their houses then go outside. I can see why!

Notes: This is supposed to be the "Green Lake" landscape. There are some people in it but I hope it'll still work. You can't see their faces unless you look really closely. Also, I hope that the human-made structures there fit.

Small description: The water glimmers beautifully in the sunlight. If you're looking for an adventure, this definitely the place to be! The mountains and volcanoes are quite tall, if you want to climb one, be my guest, but be careful!

Notes: Does the rainbow get in the way? This is one of the elemental islands, the volcano and mountain one. The water is part of the water ring and if you look closely you can see the mountain/ volcano and the trees.

A child led by joy.

A mask hides her true kind self.
Though there is darkness.
Notes: Well, there's just three simple Haiku's. x3 I'll probably enter with more poems and a story if I have time.

Travelling on MD, I lived it~

Main characters: Diana, Lilly and a mermaid creature thingy.
Language and length: English and about two pages in the Calibri (body) font on Microsoft Word.
Story entry:

Chapter 1

‘Lilly, come back!’ that was me shouting at my little sister Lilly. Oh I didn’t even introduce myself, my name is Diana and where was I. Oh! Shouting at my little sister to come back, but I think I should start the story a little differently. So, when Lilly woke me up this morning she was jumping on my bed and screaming for me to get up because she fancied a walk.
Lilly always woke me up this way in the morning because she always wanted me to go on the walk with her. For some reason Lilly never wanted Nocta to go with her. So after I agreed to go with her (as I do every day) and she jumped and screamed for joy (as she does every day) I got up out of my warm and comfortable bed and we started walking. We weren’t walking for long when we saw it standing in front of us.
A big oval shaped swirl of rainbow colours a.k.a. the portal to the human world. I couldn’t help wondering why it was just floating there, half a meter above ground. It was forbidden to walk through it everyone knew that, but it just felt odd that something that could earn you a death sentence if somebody found out wouldn’t even have a few guards stationed in front of it to stop you. This very thought floated into Diana’s mind every time she saw it. Then suddenly a very loud noise that sounded like a mixture between flop and splash (I’m going to call it flopash for now.) After that, silence. And now we are back at the beginning.

Chapter 2

‘Lilly, come back!’ that was me shouting at my little sister Lilly. We had just heard that weird flopash sound that seemed to be coming from the middle of the lake. This was odd, I thought because there was no such thing as fish in our marvellous dreams world they only existed in the human world. But nevertheless my little sister had to run over to the lake and investigate. And because she didn’t come (as always) I ran after her. The lake was coming closer and Lily just wouldn’t stop running. Next thing I knew we had both jumped into the lake (Lily first) and everything felt very odd. I had been in water before but I was pretty sure that it was not supposed to feel like this.
Everything was blurry and I was falling. Then I landed but it wasn’t a soft landing, it wasn’t a hard landing either; it felt as if I had fallen into water. Then I opened my eyes.
For the first time in my life I was in water; and so was Lily. Then somewhere in the light blueish/dark blueish/turquoiseish distance a little dot appeared and it grew larger to become a speck, then a blob, a figure and then when it (whatever it was) was only a meter away I could see it. The figure had a human head, arms and torso and instead of legs there was a glittering blue fish tail.

Chapter 3

Slowly the thing moved closer and then I noticed something else. In it’s hand there where two neclaces with a pendant on each. Then slowly it moved closely over to Lily (who was half a meter away from me) and it placed the neclace over her head and onto her neck. Now it moved over to me and when it was infront of me it opened and closed it’s mouth as if it was talking but no sound came out. Then it gave me the necklace and when the shell pendant touched my chest it was as if I had suddenly been cured of deafness and I could hear and understand the thing that was still in front of me.
When I looked down I saw it. It looked very pretty in a mysterious way.
Then it glidded away, Lily followed and I followed them. I can’t remember how I did it. All I can remember is to have made circular movements with my arms and legs and somehow I moved forward


Chapter 4

Then again just like the creature I saw a speck in the distance, that became a dot, that became a blob and then slowly the blob turned turned into an asortment of colourful shells. And when we came closer I saw that every gigantic shell had a door and at least two windows.
After an even longer while I noticed that even more creatures that looked simular to the blue thingy which still swam infront of us. Now everything became blurry and there was Lily jumping on my bed screaming for me to get up because she fancied a walk. Then I got up relieved that everything was just a dream. But when I put my hand near the light switch to turn the light on I saw it. The neclace.


Notes: Please note that I am obsessed with mermaids and Harry Potter just as much as pokemon so that may have influenced my writing.

Will be adding asap you both - have you read rules though? ;b *wink*

Also I AM EXTENDING DEADLINE TO FEBRUARY 28TH
I am going to try and get more prizes and wait to see for more entries, because I feel like only the art/sprite category has unlocked the first prizes >.< I somehow expected more people and wanted to give huge prizes.

You are getting entries from me too, I'm just one of those people who wait as long as possible before submitting my entries so I have more time to fix any little mistakes etc. The moving of the deadline will be cool though, because by then I will have my drawing tablet so I might be able to use that for my entry c:

Also I have noticed that currently, the only big prize I'd be giving would be a first prize for the art category, as none of the other has more than 7 entrants. It makes me kinda sad, but I am not really going to give the big prizes mentioned if there are this few entrants :< It already happened to me on another time and site that making a contest, I didn't fix a minimum number so I somehow end up "losing" on the contest, giving real high prizes when I had few entries, from which just 3-4 deserved prizes.

So it is likely that the contest is extended again and that I am not adding anymore prizes until there are more entrants >w<

(Don't worry though since everyone will get something)

I thought I'd just let you know about the pieces that I am entering. They are not finished yet, but will be finished by the current dead-line.
