Aha! Finally I've updated the anime list! Toothie's suggested animes got there on section because it was so long and I didnt want to check which animes were repeated :P I took away characters I shipped because it had to be done </3 Any animes I didnt add in "Other Animes"?

Sailor Moon and Sailor Moon Crystal are about 'Usagi' trying to find the other sailor scouts and get the 'Legendary Silver Crystal' i can't really explain it too well though ^^'

Tokyo Mew Mew is about a girl named 'Ichigo', she has these cat powers and is with many others...i also cannot explain this one well ethier ^^'

Lucky Star is a anime about some girls in high school, it's full of comedy and is just, plain AWESOME.

Clannad is a romance anime about Tomoya and Nagisa, i cannot explain with out spoiling it all so, very, very sorry. ^^'

Clannad ~After Story~ takes place somewhat after Clannad, i also cannot explain without giving everything away but it's sooo adorableee~!

Higurashi (((ALL.OF.THEM)) is a dark anime about Rika Furude and Hanyuu and Rika is fated to die, and she goes to new universes everytime she dies, and if she survives her fated death, the curse is broken. many deaths happen ((such, as.....Satoko's death...........)) it is very bloody and gruesome. and also FYI, Rika is exactly 110, she may LOOK 10 but she is actually 110. ((due to how many times she's gone to a new universe))

and Nichijou is a anime about these girls in high school (Yuuko, Mio and Mai), a young professor (Hakase, who is 8 years old), a robot built by Hakase, (Nano) who is ALMOST just like a human, (minus the pretty useless, yet adorable key on her back, arms coming off, and very very pointless modifitcations Hakase gives her), a black cat with a red scaf Hakase made so he can talk, (Sakamoto) he is older than Nano and Hakase and isn't ALWAYS so ':3' but man, when he plays with stuff it is kawaii and funny! and many many other characters~! (Such as Ms. Izumi Sakurai, Koujirou Sasahara, The Principal, e.t.c)

all of these are very awesome, funny, cute and just,
i reccomend them ALL

And I have some suggestions if you like cute animes like maybe you would like 'D-Frag' and 'Baka AND Test' those were some animes my cousin recommend to me and I liked them .o. 'Mondaiji Tachi' has some violence but like not so violent no kid can watch. And it's pretty funny so there are my recommendations ^^

I'm glad to see an anime thread here! Can anyone recommend some anime for me based on what I've written below? I'm probably what you call a "casual" so I don't know a lot of anime but I've been watching them since I was five.


*Please note that everything is just based on my PERSONAL opinion.
Anime I really enjoyed:

Fate/Zero Definitely the best anime for me!
Fate/Stay Night UBW I enjoy watching this but I think it's far from being as good as F/Z.
Fairy Tail This is the only 100+ episode series I continue to watch. The fanservice throws me off but I like the plot so I don't really get bothered by it.
Another
Hyouka I would die for a second season!
No Game No Life Same with Fairy Tail, the fanservice threw me off but plot kept me going.
Attack on Titan *play op 1 song here*
Blood+
Akatsuki no Yona/Yona of the Dawn
Kuroko no Basuke
And some others I've forgotten..

Well, Fate Kaleid Liner Prisma Illya is pretty fun, as it's a spin-off of the Fate series. It's a bit........... lewd? No, that's a strong word, but it's definitely not for people who faint when they see underwear.

If you like horror animes (like Another), I recommend Future Diary. It's got a similar amount of gore to Another, and the plot's amazing (in my opinion.)

If you liked Kuroko no Basuke, I recommend Haikyuu. It's another sports anime, but based on volleyball.

If you're looking for plain fun, try watching Assassination Classroom. I read the manga, and I still haven't been disappointed by the anime.

I checked out Fate/Kaleid a while back after watching F/Z and there was something that made me quit on the first episode. I can't remember what though.
As for Future Diary, I liked it. Disliked the ending a bit but the OVA left me satisfied.
It's the first time I've heard of Assassination Classroom but I'll check it out! Judging by its name, it's probably my type of anime. I'll see for myself.

And you just reminded me of Mekakucity Actors... That's also a part of my list. The anime had a complicated storyline but that made me enjoy it. I guess it had its charm or something like that.

Some tips for you:
Another anime that's pure fun - Nichijou.
Nichijou is 'Daily life' in Japanese apparently, but an appropriate description is 'Events out of daily life'.

Also, if you listen to the Kagerou Project, which is the basis for Mekakucity Actors, it helps you understand everything. Just remember to watch the PVs as well.

A pretty good action/slight dystopian/magic (if you can call people having powers and having to fufill contracts for using them magic) amine is Darker Than Black, the first season is really good, I've not gotten round to the second season yet. It might not be suitable for everyone though.

Ouran Highschool Host Club is a good romance/comedy anime.

If you really like high school themed animes with a since of murder and trial and suspense , check DanganRonpa out , I'm highly addicted to it and it's also a game as well! Overall , the anime was a bit rushed but the gameplay , gosh the gameplay is freaking aweosme , also because it has an amazing sequal but that's just me aha.

I already watched Pokémon and half of Digimon (stopped because it was getting cringy) and I’m planning on watching My Hero Academia and Naruto, and Sword Art Online.
