Midori followed quietly, sniffing around for any signs of the wolf. Her thoughts began to drift, but she cleared her head quickly so she didn't lose track of anything.

Jinx scented the air once more before following the fairly new trail to several bushes. The bushes were pushed apart noticeably, and several tufts of black fur were scattered on the bush branches. "Seems like this wasn't mean't to be a path, but the Mystery Wolf went through either way!"

Midori laughed. "Yeah, seems like it." She looked and sniffed around bushes, checking to see if the wolf was nearby. "I think it's safe," she said.

Once Midori said it was safe, Jinx practically dove into the bushes. "Ow! Thorns!" she declared as she stumbled through the already-trampled path.

"Are you okay?" Midori asked, carefully making her own way through the bushes. Thorns stuck to her fur, but she ignored them and pushed through.

Jinx followed-though it was more of a stumble-after Midori and the wolf. Managing to race ahead, Jinx spotted the mystery wolf and tackled him to the ground. "Gotcha!" she declared triumphantly as the smaller wolf struggled underneath the gnaw wolf's surprising weight.

"Great job Jinx!" Midori said, running up to the wolf. She leaned down in front of his face, glaring at him with her blind eye.

"Like I'd tell you!" The wolf growled. He shook himself, trying to escape Jinx's grip. She was too heavy, however, and he was stuck under her.

Midori continued to stare at the wolf, since she had nothing else to help with.

"Are. You. An. Outclanner?" Jinx inquired, shifting a bit. The wolf was no longer trying to escape, but he looked quite uncomfortable.

"Maybe. That's none of your business," the wolf replied, refusing to look at either wolf. He attempted to shift his body into a more comfortable position, but Jinx's weight was too much to move under.
