It seems that purple boxes aren't as rare as the others..I just found two in a row in my level 9 area. Or maybe my Arbok is just awesome at finding them.

thats a good point certain pokepon maybe can find certain colors according to types more often.
i may have to do some experimenting on that.

i don't see an article for keys or boxes on the pokeheroes wiki, perhaps you or someone else (you know how to add pages don't you moltreslava? lol) could add all this key/box information there there so others could more easily edit in information as they find it as well :)

I could add a page when I get back home, but I don't know how to add images.

the information itself would be good enough until someone could, because the boxes and keys are labeled with the correct colors on-site anyways so it's not like we have to guess about that lol but thanks! :D

if you add it to the wiki well fine but this guide stays on the forums too cuz there are some ppl who don't check the wiki but do check the forums a lot (like me)

it seems no one is finding any new colors. if we found them all that quick well that's cool.

Go to your Item bag, tab "Special". There should be a text saying: "It looks like you got your hands on some mystery boxes. Click here to open them." Just click on "Click here" and it will show you your boxes and a link to open them if the necessary key is available.

Can anyone give me an example of what's obtainable from these boxes? I'm trying to decide if mass clicking is worth it. :P

You need the right key to open them

You need much luck to find mystery boxes or keys for them. They are really hard discover, but are worth it! Some of them contain very rare items - but some others only contain a bunch of berries, worthless items or even nothing. So make sure to cross your fingers while opening them!

Now what? I had a dark blue key and when I go to my item bag is gone. Or is this box empty?
And I can't find any link to open them....

Go to the Special tab in the bag. The box and the key are both there, as is the link to open them.

All Keys are in all Areas. The Area has no impact on what Keys you find at all. It is also entirely luck-based; going for a long time gives you a higher chance of finding one, but that doesn't guarantee it.
