Reentering the camp with a large bundle of herbs in her jaws,
Silverbreeze padded to the medicine den and quickly sorted the
herbs. She walked to the fresh kill pile and picked out a plump
vole for herself, settling near the medicine den to eat.
Echopaw stirred in her warm moss nest wearily. Her brightly-colored
eyes fluttered open as she yawned, forcing herself to rise and take
her duty as an apprentice. Her legs still ached, from when she'd
had training with (Insert mentor name here) last sunrise. The blur
in her vision swept away as she departed her maxilla from her
mandible to let out a yawn. The damp wind dried her tongue, making
her close her maw quickly and rise to her paws. Once more, she
stopped at the entrance of the apprentices' den to gaze at the dim
morning sky--which she'd never enjoyed for some reason--quickly and
get a drink of water. She padded towards the small pond of silvery
water, her fur tangled in tufts. Echopaw's visionaries were
unfocused, her fluffy banner lashing idly behind her. Her tongue
lapped delicately at the water, feeling bright she knew the
sunlight was going to be better than when she'd woken.
The sunlight beamed like a streak of shock into Echopaw's
visionaries, her banner flicked, annoyed. She stretched out her
apex, as she flicked her carpals, bored.
"Oh hey Flamepaw," She replied wearily without looking up. Her
bushy tail flicked in a bored manner, as her claws-whom where
literal snake fangs-unsheathed and Echopaw began to haul herself up
the tree. Not her best talent, thats' a for sure. She settled next
to Flamepaw and began a conversation. "So, who was your mentor
again?" (Also I dunno who my mentor is.)
''i don't think i have a mentor yet....'' she mumbled looking
down.
her tail twitched a little boredly.
flamepaw yawned and looked around her ear's perked up.
Echopaw gave a half-hearted shrug. "I don't either," She hesitated
to admit, as she playfully pawed at her friend's tail once. "Urm...
I'm going to help Silverbreeze," She meowed, as if it were a
question. Leaping down the tree--She was glad to be off of the
height--Echopaw headed towards the medicine den. "Silverbreeze? Is
there anything I can help with?" She called.
''maybe when your done helping silverbreeze we could train later''
she said before echofang leaped out of the tree. it might help with both of our training... even if we are only
one moon apart... i can still use my speed she thought leaping
down next to the pond lapping at the water.
flamepaw sat down at the edge and batted at the water's surface.
flamepaw laid next to the pond batting at the surface for only a
couple minutes before she looked up her lavender eyes flickering a
bit.
''m-mother...?'' she mumbled a bit confused.
hidden in the shadows where only she, and she alone could see,
there was a wispy looking she-cat standing right beside the
tree.
she knew right there that her mother was a starclan cat now.
and from her point of view, flamepaw could make out a faint shape
of a star on her forehead. that.. that can't be right... she thought as a chill ran
down her spine.
the starclan cat nodded and then disappeared from her sight as her
eyes flickered once more.
''w-what..? that.... but... i'm so confused.....'' flamepaw
grumbled to herself and covered her head with her paws.
Echopaw nimbly padded towards the leaders' den, her zenthits
flicking as she blinked rapidly. Her apex was tilted just a bit
above her eye level as she meowed nervously into the cave which
Pikestar was in. "Urm.. Pikestar? I-i don't have a mentor yet," She
meowed quietly, her chealeas unsheathed and scraping uncomfortably
at the ground, but not as a threat. Her foremitts shuffled.
