I think that there should be a place, like a sub-division of the salon, where you can give your Pokemon accessories (bracelets, clothes, etc.) Like the one in Chicken Smoothie

@JustMe Chicken Smoothie is like PH, but with animals, and you get items to dress them up in like scarves, backgrounds, food, and more!

Yeah, but what would be the point? The Saloon is something that costs both time and money, if the only thing it did was make them "look pretty" than I wouldn't be using it...

could we have people make what they want too,like change the color and put a design on,it should show up in battles,so its like when you hire a spriter,it works for the designing and making of the products,also there should be thread where you put what you want to be added like I want a spiked dog color for my Absol

Maybe the decorations would appear during battle and when somebody interacts with the Pokemon?

I like this idea. Sure, it wouldn't really have much use, but then again, most plushies don't really have a use either. It would just be for fun. If you don't want to waste your PD on accessories...well, don't. But some of us want to dress up our special Pokemon.

It's a pretty great idea, if it's thought out well, as it stands, there isn't much information to go by, but, it does have my support.

It'd be nice to be able to dress up your prized pokemon, with accessories from the pokemon games :)

There's literally no benefit to having it, but it is a time waster, and everyone loves those when they're looking for something to do :)

It'd be a great way to also introduce contests onto the site that involve having users enter said dressed pokemon, and have others vote on it, for prizes and such.

Ok, so I've had a quick look at chicken smoothie, and from what I can see there are a limited number of "templates" which you then customize through color, markings and accessories right? So I see one issue with making accessories for pokemon - there are over 700 pokemon and each object would need to be specific to each pokemon. Even something as simple as a bracelet for example, one size would not fit all because all pokemon are different. They have different thicknesses of arms/legs, and they are held at different angles. Then there are things like hats, every pokmon has a different sized head, their ears are in different positions, some have spikes or horns, some have hair... I just see this being too big of a project for something that doesn't do much for the site.

I agree with JustMe on this.

Since Pokemon have different sizes and some don't even have limbs such as arms or legs and some have wings or extra arms, and in different spots, so there's no way to make a template that would fit all. You would need a template for every Pokemon, events and legendaries and ones with different forms, and the accessories themselves would have to be different too in sizes.

And I've seen people saying to make their own accessories, and all I can imagine are users trying to take sprites from the Pokemon games, with square white backgrounds, wondering why the accessories don't work or why it doesn't look good or stretched or blurry. And making the spriters make the accessories correct for Pokemon with the given differences it's too much.

So no support, it doesn't seem worth the time or effort just to customize the Pokemon. If anything, I'd think it'd be easier for people to go and look up the accessories used in the Pokemon game and add them to sprites on programs such as photoshop or GIMP or Paint, etc. and show them off instead of making the spriters of PH make and design every accessory for every Pokemon when some users might not even use the feature.

Again you'd have to have Riako code such a program and spriters make it possible to keep a decent quality when the image is blown up (expanded) or degraded (shrunk) which I don't think will happen.

The pictures wouldn't look good at that point, blurry or scrunched, and the sprites on here would look clustered. Like I said, it'd be easier for users to make it on their own and just sport the sprite in their signature to have as many accessories as they want on their Pokemon sprite. Granted it won't battle, but at least it would take a load of work and coding off Riako and spriters for something purely cosmetic.
