All site rules apply (obviously).
You may not use an AMIL Pet that you don't own in battle.
This is already covered in the first rule, but it is very important, so I will say it again: Do not curse/swear/whatever you want to call it at any time in this clan.
If you read these rules, please say any greeting in any language when you post your form!

CLAN LAUNCH EVENT:
You can get a free custom animated menu icon that you made yourself as an AMIL Pet! Simply post an animated menu icon that differs from the official one in any way, and you will get it as a pet in the clan, completely ready to battle! (In this particular event, you cannot receive Fakemon. Sorry!)
In addition to the opportunity to create an AMIL Pet, you can change the gender of your first Pokémon at any time before the event ends. This is because I don't know what everyone wanted theirs to be, so I made them all male.

Battling AMIL Pets:

Below is a guide on the battle system
here at AMIL:
1 ) Choose the AMIL Pets that you wish to use.
When you join the clan, you can get Bulbasaur, Charmander or Squirtle. You can also earn AMIL Pets by participating in AMIL Events (see the hide tab above). You can use up to six AMIL Pets in a battle. AMIL Pets have stats based on their species, but their stats will rise when you win battles!
2 ) Choose a partner.
You need someone else to fight you in a battle, so you need to select another member in order to fight them.
3 ) Choose which Pokémon to send out.
When you are fighting another trainer, you can only have a specific amount of Pokémon on the battlefield at once. For now, the maximum is two; you also need to agree on whether you should have a Single Battle or Double Battle before the match starts. Until you switch out or a member of your team faints, you can only use those two.
4 ) Use an attack.
When attacking, you can choose any Pokémon type, and either Physical or Special. If it is Physical, use its Attack stat minus your opponent's Defense stat to find the damage. If the move is Special, use your Pokémon's Special Attack stat minus your opponent's Special Defense stat to find the damage. If the move is super-effective (check a website such as Bulbapedia to find out if it is), double the offensive stat used when calculating damage; if it is not very effective or does no damage, double the defensive stat used when calculating damage. If a move does not do damage, or does negative damage, instead use 1 for the amount of damage dealt. The final damage is then multiplied by 1.5 if the attack is the same type as the user.
5 ) See if the opponent fainted.
When your attack is used, subtract the amount of damage it did from your opponent's HP stat. If this makes it run out of HP, that Pokémon is fainted. Otherwise, it is still able to attack normally; use the modified HP stat on the next turn as well.
6 ) Switch out when your Pokémon is low on health.
When your Pokémon is close to fainting, it is a good idea to switch to one of the other Pokémon you are using in that battle. You can simply post that you wish to switch, and you can choose any of your Pokémon except the ones that are fainted.
7 ) Take turns!
In a single battle, if your Pokémon attacks, it is your opponent's turn to attack. In a double battle, when both of your Pokémon attack, it is your opponent's turn. After their turn ends, it goes back to yours. If you switch Pokémon, the Pokémon that was switched in can't attack until your next turn.
8 ) Defeat all of your opponent's Pokémon!
In order to win the battle, you need to defeat all of your opponent's Pokémon. If you win the battle, all of your Pokémon will have a boost in stats based on the Pokémon you defeated. This system is based on the Effort Values, also known as Base Stats, in the official Pokémon games.

Update Log:

March 14, 2014 - I have finally
updated the wording of the first post, due to its inclusion of
outdated information regarding Pokémon X and Y. I also added an
event archive, and moved the now-ended Clan Launch Event into
it.
October 8, 2013 - STAB now exists, and attacks no longer need to be the same type as the user.
October 8, 2013 - STAB now exists, and attacks no longer need to be the same type as the user.
More information may be added to this post as the clan is updated, but for now, registration is open! ^^
Charmander has 6 Speed, while Bulbasaur has 4, so I will go first. Charmander will use a Special Fire attack. 6 x 2 is 12 (doubled because the move is super-effective) damage. 12 - 6 is 6, so the move does 6 damage to V-Nun.
However, I did notice that the system is unbalanced, since people who have a type disadvantage have almost no chance of winning. I shall do something about that ASAP. Sorry!
As a result, my attack did 9 damage, but you can use a move other than Grass to do more damage than I did. ^^ (Also, when you build up Speed by winning battles, Bulbasaur will be able to go first; this could turn the battle around in your favor!)
4 is correct. However, I am not sure where you got the 1 from. Charmander's Defense is 4, just like Bulbasaur's Attack.
Since 4-4 is 0, the final damage is then 1.
EDIT: Wait; did you change Defense to 1 because of the line about the damage becoming 1 when it is normally 0? If so, it is the final damage that is supposed to change. Sorry if that was confusing. ^^'
Charmander will now use a Fire Special attack for another 9 damage, knocking out V-Nun.
Thanks for battling! I actually need to leave for now as well, but hopefully I can get on later as well.
Do you have any suggestions? The battle system is currently rough and not very good, so please tell me about everything you think should change! ^^
Or, you could add on to it.
Instead that we should take the damage it normally does PLUS the attack, (To non-weak Pokémon, still keep the double system, and again, use Bulbapedia)minus the Defense of the foe, to get that damage.
Bold is the add-on. I personally like the first better, but I don't care. Whatever one is fine.
And good battle. Right now, we are kind of like rivals, because of our Pokémon.
